Oh no sir, central Arkansas is God's gift to everything. They'll always be here no matter what if the team would just be here. Right?
No scoreboard, 5 minutes of gameplay into the game

Zip ties holding the seats together

More than half the upper deck completely empty on a mid afternoon Saturday

Do you have any idea where he played? Where he was a legend?
Again I'm just talking about what the Facebook warriors would say. There's a lot more of them than there are those of us who live and breath it
The question is, if you give him 1M do you get more than that much back in donations from people who do think Archer is the second coming.

I think it's an interesting business situation myself
I'm telling you if he flips Archer and gets the Lindsey kid his approval rating with the public will go sky high.

Again not saying he'll win or he's even good I'm just saying public perception from the masses (not us die hard fans on message boards) is that Archer is the biggest fish in a long long time.

Again I'm not even saying he is I'm just saying that flip will earn him a ton of good will
What's the "open" foundation look like
To be completely fair to the discussion you can't say the hire of Bielema was a bad hire. He had just come off winning the big ten, now it ended up poorly but the hire itself was a good hire at the time.
That's not really what I was getting at though. He's SEEN by the masses as this amazing QB, another greenwood guy, local guy. If he got him to flip he would win a lot of hearts.

Keep in mind Ole Miss current QB was playing d2 last year. I'm not saying Archer would or wouldn't be successful. I do however think the key to any Arkansas football success lies with in state guys being on the team, and being good players.

Mallet
Wilson

Dennis Johnson
Dmac
Cedric Cobbs
Madre Hill
Joe Adams
DJ Williams
Peyton Hollis
Shawn Andrews
Brandon Allen
Hunter Henry
Zach Hocker
Matt Jones
Treylon Burks
Cobi Hamilton
Brandon Burlsworth
Dan Hampton
Jonathan Luigs

You can't find a team that had success that didn't have impactful Arkansas kids on it

I know it's cliche but it seriously just does mean more for Arkansas kids. They grew up with it, they understand it.
Can you imagine if he flips Archer? I think he would have 90% support from the state at that point

There is not a chance we go TO Utah and beat them

Because I want to see him? We live 4 hours away, I'm not going to ditch out on my kid because the football sucks. The band gets there 6 hours early so after it's always the option

My oldest son is a senior and today is his last day to march for Razorback band. We haven't missed a game since he's been here but man I really wanted to today. Gonna be brutal today, all just to hear them announce his name and have him wave lol

I think it says a ton that he's being viewed as a candidate for multiple programs. Our current head coach isn't.

You're telling me we're not looked at better than UCLA?

I'm fairness owning an NFL team is an elite of all elite flexes. There's only 32 in the world and it's guaranteed to make money hand over fist. A college program isn't even close to an equal comparison.

So why isn't Florida looking at him? Auburn? UCLA? Oklahoma State? Outside of 2 years with an absolutely stacked in state recruiting cycle what has he done as a head coach that screams I'm the answer?

Listen I loved me some Petrino. I went to every game home and away during 2010 and again in 2011 because I was so fired up. He doesn't have it anymore. All he had to do was figure out a way to win Auburn and Mississippi State and he would've been named head coach during that bye week. He failed, and then he has continued to fail since then. I don't really think asking to win 2 games was really too much to ask.

Show me where I said anything close to ecstatic

If we went 6-6 for 4 straight years with 9 conference games and a p4 game I don't know how anyone wouldn't sign up for that after the last 4 years we've had.
