Even with time at Clemson, CCM probably doesn't fully realize the meatgrinder of the SEC
then why the hell did we hire him? The sec was the strongest its ever been when petrino took over and he never coached in the sec before that. Dont make excuses before the season if we suck. This is the easiest schedule we've had in years. If we can't get at least 6 or 7 wins i highly doubt chad will be the guy for us.

I feel like most of you guys are selling us wayyy short. Im 21 and before john L and fatass got here the only 2 losing seasons weve had in my lifetime was mcfaddens freshman year after jones and petrinos first year after mcfadden when we were rebuilding both times and still wom 5 games with a chance to win 6 both seasons. We aren't supposed to be a garbage team we are better tham kentucky pr vandy we dont have to be the sec west whipping boy. That spot is reserved for the mississippi schools imo.

8 wins. I didn't realize how easy our schedule is this year.

He had more SEC experience (one season as an OC at Auburn, but...) than Morris has.

I wouldn't say easy. It does give us an advantage, but we will have to rely on other teams to get worked and us stay healthy. Our team should be more impressive physically with what type of system CCM runs. If we can stay competitive all 4 quarters of every game, it could be a great season. Not scoring in the second half like under Bert will do nothing. Morris needs to keep it simple this year as well. Being cute and turning the ball over is what I'm afraid of most.

6 wins and we win our bowl game.

9 wins the following season.

I like what we've done by hiring Morris. Its the right style of play for a team that isn't likely to recruit as many horses as many other SEC teams will.

I'm not sure what to think about this team.

We've got a ton back on defense, so Chavis should have us stepping up on that side of the ball. However, we've got 3 enormous question marks in QB, OL and DL, not to mention ST. We could legitimately see what Bill Simmons calls the "new coach bump," but there's also the distinct chance that CCM could have a steep learning curve with the SEC. However, I sincerely doubt he underestimates the toughness of this conference this conference like Bert did when he got here.

Also, it remains to be seen what the physical conditioning of this team is after 5 years of the worst S&C program in the country. Not sure you can exercise (literally and figuratively) the #BodybyHerb demons from this squad in just 9 months, but we'll see.

Honestly, anything between 3-9 and 9-3 wouldn't shock me.
