If Cats or Vols lose Friday, there will be plenty of tickets for Saturday.

Here is a school-by-school look at SEC total operating expenses for basketball in 2021-22:
* Kentucky: $22,116,208
* Tennessee: $14,659,954
* Georgia: $14,127,220
* Auburn: $13,813,576
* Texas A&M: $13,524,047
* Ole Miss: $13,026,006
* Arkansas: $11,802,170
* South Carolina: $11,792,522
* Alabama: $10,900,723
* Missouri: $10,286,792

There's no way in hell anyone can convince me that Georgia basketball isn't a money laundering operation. How can a program be so shitty, not care about being shitty, and be the #3 spender in the conference?

How much did they still owe Crean? Does that figure in those numbers?

If it's not that, I don't know how that number is so high other than what you suggested.

Somewhere I seem to remember that matchups for these things are frequently based on the previous year conference ranking.

They don't even spend much on their power bill.
Their basketball arena is poorly lit.

They're for 2021-2022. You'd think his buyout would be part of this season's budget since he wasn't fired until after last season ended. Either way, I would have guessed they'd be down at the bottom and even accounting for a buyout they'd probably still be middle of the pack. They were also middle of the pack in recruiting spending despite having one of the least talented rosters in the conference most years. So yeah, at best they're horribly mismanaging their budget. Spending that kind of money for the results they have had recently is one of the worst ROIs in the country.

People have got to stop giving him attention. He’s just gonna continue doing it if he’s getting clicks.

it's the clown.

Of course his focus is on the Miller "situation".

My favorite is this little phrase in one of his sentences:

"Considering the current contempt for Alabama basketball outside of the state"

What a dickbag.

I've still yet to understand why AL.com wants to alienate its largest customer base (Alabama). I never go to AL.com because of this clown. All he does is write negative articles about our athletic programs. Never anything positive. The sooner that company goes bankrupt the better.

It would be nice. I had seen it discussed somewhere else this morning; so, I wanted to see what he said after the press conference issue the other day. I don't normally use the site.

From what I've heard, the sports editor is an Auburn grad and hates Bama. Not sure if it's true. Those newspapers and companies don't really make much money if any. They are typically held up with debt, subsidies and donations.

I haven't been on AL.com in years. I do believe that it is run by Auburn people because their forums and comment sections on articles were filled with barner trolls. They also employed Kevin Scarbinsky and Phillip Marshall, who are both well known Auburn homers. When they attend press conferences from now on our coaches need to just ignore them.

This right here. I've already unfollowed everyone still writing articles about Miller and refuse to give them any attention. The sooner more people do this the sooner these guys will see they're not generating the same amount of clicks and they'll move on.
