Too risky. I need another National Championship to put on my job applications. The man is literally (LOL) taking food out of my kid’s mouths.

Good on CNS! Some things are more important than football.

The outcome of a game isn’t as important as those young men spending the holidays with family.

Common sense and college kids don't mix.
A quarter of the players on the team will probably be out partying.

We all want to win. But in the end it's just a damn game. family and time doing other things in life is not guaranteed. So if they have the ability to go home, they should. We should entrust them to be smart and make the best decisions to keep themselves healthy.
People who disagree with sabans decision are those who have never been away from home for extended periods of time.

We get it. You don’t agree with the decision. These players are still kids and want to be with their family. Let them go home. NCAA has already said they would push the playoffs back if necessary. Your post remind me of DD4Bama with all of gl the negativity.

One thing that is concerning and probably part of CNS decision is the lack of intensity in the SECCG.
The team lacked energy. The season is taking is toll.

They should have done this even if not necessary. I understand that the issue may be the NFL playoffs, but it's just fricking stupid to play the semi-finals a week after Christmas.

Ruining the literal CF playoffs to avoid TV crossover with the NFL 2nd round would be peak idiotic college football.

Coach was mentioning energy was low @ halftime.
At the half what was the message:
Saban: "..I knew the game was far from over and I was trying to get our players' energy level but we seemed a little bit tired. You know."
Basically he was saying due to practice folks were tired.

Will Clemson and Ohio St allow their players to go home? ND already said no.
The top Dr on the coronavirus said don't travel for the holidays.
Saban's decision to let the players go home during the bye week was bad. The decision to let the players go home now is even worse, with coronavirus numbers spiking all over the country.

...or families can make their own choice and decisions. Rather than have it made for them.
