Mississippi State Lands New RB From The Transfer Portal

Utah State transfer running back Davon Booth announced his commitment to Mississippi State this week. Per On3:

In one season at Utah State, Booth was an effective runner, taking 120 carries for 805 yards across 12 games. He scored six rushing touchdowns. And he was functional as a receiver, catching a dozen passes for 50 yards.

Booth was unrated as a prospect in the 2020 class, and began his college career going the junior college route at Cerritos College.
