There is no doubt that Najee is quite an immature person. He has gotten away with it for a long time because he is a freak athlete. Saban challenged him on it and I wouldn’t have it any other way. No player can be an issue.

This is exactly right.

Why am I not surprised a user with the handle “lovethelord” has this shite take.
I’ve been waiting for someone like Najee to come out of Alabama for a hot minute. Watch Devonta Smith’s interviews then watch Najee. Dude is full of life and incredibly fun to watch and listen to. Just because he has a bit of a mouth and started out a little mean doesn’t mean he hasn’t grown up (which the road to the pros had clearly shown) and his experience has helped him tremendously.
I think he’ll be a fantastic pro as well as a very entertaining character.

I don't just LOVE everything Najee has said in this series. But some of you need a long hard look in the mirror.
a ton of comments in this thread are basically old white men saying, "I can't believe this uppity 'n-word' said that".

my perspective is simple. both the players such as najee and the "homer" fans are looking thru the same lens, just from a different perspective. neither can grasp why the other doesn't have the same attitude towards bama football as the other.

Todd McShay: “Harris has excellent size and decent top-end speed. He was a much more decisive runner as a senior, showing oily hips for a big back and playing light on his feet. He gets in and out of breaks quickly, has excellent ball security and he’s a slippery runner between the tackles but he has acceleration limitations.
Harris showed tremendous improvement as a pass-catcher in 2020 with a big catch radius and an ability to adjust to balls thrown outside his frame. He also shows good aggressiveness in pass pro.”
Najee Harris: “I think Todd McShay can kiss my arse. How is he gonna say ‘He showed better production?’ I did not play my freshman or sophomore seasons, rarely, ever. I didn’t have an opportunity to show I could catch. It’s not ’cause I can’t, it’s ’cause I wasn’t in the game to show people I could catch."
Man, he's defensive.

I'd pay good money to get some of these folks honest opinions on Marshawn Lynch.

He should be applauded for telling Todd McShay to kiss his arse.
I watched episodes 2 and 3 and I am not getting the Najee hate on here? The only thing that was sort of off-putting was his hot takes on the fans because of some shite he read on-line. He needs to grow some thicker skin and quit bitching. If he lands in some place like Philly, New England, or New York, they are going to let him know about it because they DGAF what he is going through. No one does actually...….

This is what I meant by my disappointed comment... but these stupid over-reactors want to claim anybody who sees it any other way must be racist old people.

I see where some of you are coming from, and I don't think that it has anything to do with race, but I also understand that Najee is speaking in the present tense on past events. He didn't say that it still irks him regarding internet morons, only that it did when he was a freshman or sophomore.

Because you are ignorant and closed minded.

Is something wrong with Devonta's interviews? He's all about overcoming the doubters, putting in the effort, etc etc etc. THE PROCESS.
The racism charge is ridiculous and shame on whoever brought it up.
