My only criticism of him is there were some zone reads where he went hero ball and kept it instead of giving it to the RBs.
As far as his passing performance, I don't think it's going out on a limb and saying this was his finest hour. I'm not talking about just raw numbers, either. His pocket presence, his reading the field and getting off his primary, his short/medium accuracy - all magnificent.
If we lost this, it damned sure wasn't going to be because of him.

Deboer is coaching him up. He looks confident

I'll eat mine. Short & intermediate game was splendid tonight. His only INT was tipped. The TD run on 4th down was insane.
Milroe played a helluva game. Hollywood put on a show. Hope K.Law isn't hurt badly. Offensive line looked like all-pros in pass protection.
Defense was tenacious in the 1st half.

Tonight was certainly JM4s finest hour. That throw to jam on the wheel route was as good as any I’ve seen. The int was not his fault. Your safety valve tight and has to catch that. He does and the game is over at the half. Fact is, id say half if not more of the opposite 11 are going to be Sunday guys and Jalen played the best game of his life tonight.

Through all of last year and the first three games of this year, I thought Ty Simpson gave us a better chance long term. WRONG. Milroe looked like a quarterback tonight. He looked like a really damn good quarterback tonight. Composure. Made fantastic throws (the touchdown to jam miller was beautiful), utilized the tight ends, made plays with his legs, led an awesome comeback not many (if any) in this league could have. frick yea Jalen. Kudos to you and you deserve to be a top 10 (at the very worst) pick in the NFL draft this year. Wouldn’t trade the guy for anyone else in CFB this year. So impressed by JM4 tonight.
ETA If two years of Bill fricking Obrien could be replaced with this staff, Jalen would be far and away the best player in CFB.

Jalen played an incredible game, we can win a championship with him. We could've won one last year with him, I mean we did win the SEC
My only criticisms of him were some of the read plays, felt like he should've handed it off and instead he kept it. The other criticism (and this was probably by design and not so much on Jalen) is snapping the ball with 20 seconds left on the play clock when we're trying to kill some clock
Sheridan called a great game in the first half, but got conservative and didn't adjust to UGA's adjustments. But he was right in the end and came through

Great game tonight, Milroe haters can take a few days off.

Milroe tonight was FABULOUS and as he’s often been in his career - CLUTCH. If I had a criticism of him, I would not express it tonight.

Sunshine pumpers. All of you. Milroe isn't the end all be all. He was bailed out twice by a phenom freshman wide receiver. Go back and look at the adjustments made. Take the rose colored glasses off. Georgia figured out how to stop him in the 2nd half and shut him down. If Williams doesn't make two great catches we lose this game.

One of the best and most efficient games Milroe has played. As others have mentioned, no needless sacks. The one INT wasn’t totally on him, either. Very good game.

This amazes me. We can "IF" all day long. IF Carson Beck doesn't get picked at the end of the game, we lose. IF our TE catches that pass and the Georgia Defense doesn't, this game isn't close. IF, IF, IF. Milroe did great. My only criticism was the way we attacked the edges in the 2nd half. We went east/west instead of north/south - and Georgia eliminated it. But that isn't a criticism of us as much as it is a compliment to them. Enjoy the victory.

Still waiting for PowHound (and that other dude in the game thread) to swing by and tell us he still sucks.
I believe Ospry might be the other dude. He’s complimented nearly everyone responsible for the offense’s performance last night, but surprisingly he still hasn’t credited Milroe yet. I think he’s still trying to figure out how to spin the “we won despite Milroe” narrative. Problem is, dude played nearly perfect and he knows it.

Probably has to do with comfort level. QB and OL are more comfortable playing at X pace so your best odds of moving the ball are playing at that pace. Definitely need to work on the 4 minute offense though. We had multiple opportunities to bleed the clock and end the game.

I still have my concerns with his game but last night that was on the coaching staff 100%. The first half by far was the best game I have seen Milroe have. The coaches schemed perfect for him in that half. I noticed no big throws were being called and he was hitting everything short and intermediate. Which forced their D to not stack the box. This allowed Milroe and our running game to have room to move the ball.
The second half we went away from that which took away our ability to run.
I have said it that I think Milroe inconsistencies concern me in regard to winning a NC but if the staff can call a complete game like they did the first half I feel we can win a NC.

That was the key in my opinion in the first half. They forced the UGA LBs to play in coverage because of the short passing game. It allowed Milroe to be patient and run the ball for big gains when needed.
Up to this point to many of the games we only saw him launch it down the field for big gain attempts which required him to hold the ball longer that in turn lead to sacks or pressure coming fast to prevent a run game.
Seems the staff and Milroe finally came together to figure out what was the best plan.

Stop being so thin skinned when people point out the holes in Milroes game. I'm not going to join the sunshine pumping cult ever.
Here is my only post from the first half of the game last night:

Best game Milroe ever played. Ball is out on time, accurate, all levels Making good decisions at the mesh Milroe looks amazing. DeBoer is an ELITE play caller.
Then the we all saw what happened second half. Couldn't sustain any drives and after being spotted 30 nearly lost. After the script was up, and UGA tightened up the edges it was the same ol Milroe unable to move the chains. It took a boom one play bomb to win the game and without it we were going to witness the biggest collapse in Bama football history.
How do you come away feeling warm and fuzzy about Milroe ? The stat line does not tell the story

The play calling was shite. This had to do more with the OC than Milroe. Look what happened when he was allowed to open it back up. A bomb to Ryan Williams. That's what should have been happening in the 2nd half against a team like Georgia. The blame lies with the OC.

Look man, all the criticism prior to the game is valid. He is still not a finished product. He has flaws.
But after last night's performance, you gotta feel at least a little warm and fuzzy.
You wanna act all objective, be objective about 375 passing and 100+ rushing with 82% completions. On what planet is that not an excellent performance? And it was against the top defense in the country. Be objective.

Anything and everything to take away any credit from Jalen. Spotted 30? Yeah they just gave us 30 points. We didn't earn it or anything. Jalen did everything last night you've been saying he's couldn't. Went through progressions, read the defense, diced them up in the short to immediate passing game, threw to receivers before they were open, the total package.
The second half was Sheridan going full turtle playing not to lose. Kept calling the same runs to the outside UGA had adjusted for. Nothing Jalen can do about that. He still was 9-12 for 175 and a TD in the second half. He made elite throws all night.
