re: Bill Belichick is hiring the ultimate usurper

Another coach past his prime
Past his prime? The guy's offense put up very good numbers at Arkansas and improved every season. It was the only thing Arkansas had going for them. Arkansas was at the/or near the top in close losses this season; all thanks to his offense that kept them in games. The defense was just historically bad.

A fan of what exactly? Genuinely curious what he does to make someone a fan
He puts out good content and I admire his attempts at getting better at boxing. He's come a long way from where he used to be in boxing and is serious about wanting to get better. This 1 loss doesn't define him. He got beat by a better boxer. It happens.
I'm a huge Jake Paul fan, but even he knew he was outgunned before this fight began. I know he wanted to see where he stood. He now realizes what it takes to be that king of the mountain in boxing.
Is this real or AI generated?

Just saw this on the Miami board:

Day is VERY lucky the CFP expanded last year. Otherwise he's probably out of a job.
Yep. His seat was scorching after those Michigan losses.
I don't know if I totally believe this kid. Deion may have done it before, but I seriously doubt this was a common thing like he is making it sound. It would have already made it to the public if that was the case.

34-3 and we aren't even at halftime yet.

Oregon blowing their doors off. Yawn. I thought the playoffs were supposed to be fun?
He's absolutely sunbelt billy 2.0
This is what separates the men from the boys

Alabama with all its struggles lately wins their first round playoff game. Aggie has the best season they've ever had, yet they lose in the first round. That's the difference between an elite program and a not so elite program.
The moment is too big for Aggie

They're not used to this. This is what separates the men from the boys. Alabama is a program, even with its struggles this season, wins when it matters the most. It's a mental hurdle that Aggie is going to have to get over due to not being used to major success.

He's not perfect. And a lot of that had to do with Milroe throwing games away. People forget Saban nearly lost to a horrendous Arkansas team and was a 4th and 31 away from losing to a terrible Auburn team in his last season.

He’s better than people are giving him credit for. Bama is lucky to have him.
People are expecting him/Alabama to be up there at Saban levels. That's just not going to happen. Saban was the GOAT for a reason. DeBoer has his flaws, but you don't have a record like that and not be a good head coach. He's only been head coach at the D1 level for 6 seasons and has won pretty much everywhere he's been (in 2 P5 conferences). He's still young and got a lot of time to grow with more experience (and improve on his flaws).
Kalen DeBoer is 8-2 against top 10 opponents

In his short head coaching career. Crazy that some would want him fired. Will not be surprised if he pulls the "upset" on Indiana.
Think I saw something on espn that DeBoer is now 8-2 against top 10 teams in his career. The guy doesn't even have his own recruited qb and ol playing for him yet.

I didn’t really see any of them?
It's coming. You don't give Alabama second chances. Alabama is basically the king of mulligans/second chances. Alabama will be healthier when they play Indiana too.
He's already accomplished more in 6 seasons as HC than Kiffin has in his entire HC career.
You all know how this ends
Posted by Contra on 12/19/25 at 11:00 pm
Nobody is better at mulligans/second chances than Alabama. Alabama takes down Indiana in the Rose Bowl and looks good doing it.

The guy doesn't have his own recruited QB and OL playing for him yet. Anybody turning on him when he hasn't even been here long enough for that is just crazy.
