1) He is so fricking stupid. What does he think he's going to accomplish battling the fans? It's a no win situation for everyone.
2) Why does he think he has the clout to shite on the fans? It's pure arrogance that he just had to throw that out there so everyone knew he was unhappy about being booed.
3) It's really shitty to tell the players that the fans are against them when it was obvious they were booing him.
4) When can the fans boo? Down 38-3 vs Indiana? Down 28-7 in the 4th q of the SECCG?
5) Booing isn't quitting - it's showing displeasure with what's going on. I've seen pee wee crowds boo coaches. It's part of the game. We've all heard boos from the crowd a million times. He nor the crowd Saturday are special in that regard. Just stfu and do your job.
6) Keep hanging 50 a game and everything will work itself out.

The best way to address/solve all of this would be to come out and kick South Carolina in the teeth from the opening kickoff. Coaches, players and fans would all be happy about that.

The problem wasn’t the offense. The defense could stop a sneeze. I am all for easing our sophomore quarterback into the game. Two games ago we gave him too much, and the fanbase exploded, demanding simpler stuff early in the game. The next week we play it conservative to hopefully cut down on the disaster plays, and people lose their stuff because we didn’t score every possession.

Some of ya'll must have watched a different game than me. The crowd booed when we were getting our arse handed to us in the 2nd quarter. We had just got a false start penalty then Grubb called the exact same WR bubble screen to the left two plays in a row. Nothing the first time and nothing the second time. That's why the crowd got restless and I don't blame them. I was too.
The people who are overly emotional about this are Grubb & the "our fans suck so bad" crowd. We were teetering on going down by 3 TDs at half to FSU. Kinda understandable people were not happy at that point.
We were all happy it worked out in the end until Grubb opened his mouth this afternoon.

It is for sure, but it wouldn't be a topic if he didn't bring it up. Says alot about him imo.
I remember Bill Parcells, one of the greatest of all time, get booed in a MNF game he won with the Jets. It happens. No reason to make a big deal out of it.

Someone needs to explain that to him. We have more than our fair share of dumbass rednecks who don't know shite about shite, but the vast majority of people in the stands at an Alabama game know enough about football to tell you that running a reverse on 2nd and 6 at your own 20 or going downfield on 3rd and 3 from your own 35 is fricking stupid. The booing is because the playcalling is stupid, not because the players are failing to execute some of the braindead shite he calls.

You don't seem to understand either. The people upset just want to see a team come out and look like they've practiced during the week. Come out ready to go and not look lost for a quarter or two before getting their heads on right.
It's not about being perfect. It's about looking like you're prepared and ready to go when kickoff starts. That hasn't happened yet this season.
