News of Arnold will more cannon fodder for the auburn controlled media to splash across headlines.
Headlines on AL.com right now
** Auto parts plants, soccer and Ella Langley bring Auburn new residents, industrial boom.
** Tuscaloosa’s BF Goodrich tire factory closing, 1,200 employees to lose jobs over 2 years.
Headlines like this are common....Anyone with little sense can see that auburn owns the media in this state and Bama doesn't put up a fight.

Time will tell. Success means different things to different people.

Everyone who has zero sympathy for Bama because we been beating their tails and winning NC for decades while their loathing grew in intensity.
They're very rarely going to make it easy for Bama.

here was a time when a few parents actually paid the head coach at Alabama to play their kid.

The Tribulation is approaching and people can feel it building. Interest in trivial things like D1 football and NIL will only continue to go through self-adjusting down-turns as people turn their attention toward more crucial issues.

Deboer will take Bama to new lows.

Summerall is who I wish Bama had got as a coach.

I'd honor all the Heisman winners something. Not sure about a statue. Maybe, unless I heard a better suggestion.
Want, not got

Bama is the school that everyone loves to make an example of. They get no breaks.
auburn and LSU want EVERY game to be at night at home. Can't get it all the time.
re: Who do you think (on paper) has the best shot at winning the SEC title this Fall?

Amarillo, Don't look for OL play to ever be great under Deboer/Grubb. Neither understand what SEC level 'physical' is all about. The only thing about Grubb that is consistent is his ability to over-think everything. Had high hopes for Grubb, but its obvious he is not the answer. And the fact Deboer thinks he is says a lot about the state of the team......I look for Deboer to have Mark Richt and less type years. Just enough for many to have some hope and other times we will get our azz handed to us by more physical teams.

Bama wins and barn loses. Great day!
This is standard procedure in the modern court system.

I’m trying to imagine giving a shite about any women’s sport that much.
I watched half of the game Sat and turned it off. I am done for this season. Maybe next season will be better. The dynasty is officially dead for now.
auburn's wants to win the state from Bama and see the Bama dynasty crumble. They focus more on the downfall of Bama than actually being successful themselves. This all started back in the 80's when they hired Pat Dye and has continued since.
Auburn has been very focused and precision in their process. They have slowly taken over all the media in the state. Back in the 70s I'd say auburn would have been lucky to have 20% of the state. Now days its more like 40% and climbing. They have done this by controlling the media, having some success, and getting TONS of money pumped into the program from somewhere. They are the kings of promotion and rah-rah BS, but it works on people. Women are prone to root for auburn because they are viewed as the under-dogs. Men with an under-dog syndrome are prone to root for auburn.
They also want to see the auburn area built up to compete with Tuscaloosa. So they have taken over politics in the state to get money funneled toward their efforts. Go look at auburn today vs the 70's. Its been completely transformed. auburn controls major political seats in this state and have for some time. They had Tubberville face or name on the front page of every news outlet for 2 years before the election. Result: he won in a land-slide victory of 85%+.
Also, Birmingham used to be a Bama city and we had legion field there. auburn was instrumental in causing division and promoting UAB as a brand. This is why so many Bama fans want to see UAB not be successful. There is a reason auburn keeps all their sports on the auburn campus and all the focus on the main campus teams.
auburn also pumps its teams at the high school level.
Bottom-line: Bama will always have its history and tradition, but auburn is slowly winning the battle in this state; and Bama is doing nothing to stop it in any form.

If auburn could pay to get all night games, they would do it. The same way they have bought all the state media.
