Don't be shocked if we hire Gus Malzahn as an analyst this week

There is lots of dumb shite all over the internet. I'll believe it when I see it.

I hope with all my being this is true, purely for the lulz.

No surprise, it is the Kobe mentality - you crazy enough to challenge me then you are crazy enough to play with me. I bet Saban would love to have Tom Herman on staff too.

Saban does need someone to wash his car now that Butch is gone.

His scouting report on Auburn alone would be worth the money

I'd rather see his scouting report on Bama. I bet Saban wants to pick his brain on why he's been (modestly) successful against Saban and the Tide.

Imagine if we had a former Tennessee and Auburn Head Coach on staff as Saban's interns at the same time. Oh well Butch is off to better things

First, I'll beat you with my coaches.. Then we'll switch and I'll beat you with your coaches.

That term just doesn't mentally fit when referring to Gus. Are you sure you don't mean "pick his nose"?

Can you picture Saban picking Gus's nose?

He can help the rest of the staff in proper wearing of sweater vests.

I never liked Gus, but you can't deny he's had more success against Saban than anybody else. Call it luck, or voodoo, or whatever you want, but the guy went 3-5 against Saban during what is arguably the greatest dynasty run in college football history. I don't think any other coach in the SEC has (or had) more than one win against Alabama since 2007.

I'd definitely want to pick his brain about how he was able to do that.

why would we care what malzahn has to say? he only cares about his own system, doesnt pay attention to anything else. the game evolved past his bush league cheap shot system

How and why is Muschamp is making 300K a year as referenced in that link? It has been widely reported that analysts make along the lines of 45K a year. Or will Muschamp have more of a role than an analyst.

If Saban cares enough to hire him, that is good enough for me to care.
