What are we ranked on industry leader ESPN?
PSG just dominated. Wasn't really a match. Congrats to them. I think the beat every Premier League team in the competition as well.

Whisky before noon is awesome.
Anti-clamatic end to the season. Really not a great one overall. But not Pools fault they took it. See what City looks like with Rodri back next year. Think it will back to a 2 horse Liverpool/Man City race. Wirtz would be amazing at Pool. Chelsea is always just someone in charge with a functional brain from being dangerous. ManU I just don't know. F*** Tottenham. Arsenal won't be able to get or won't go for a striker. We need some one below Salah and Haaland, like Toney or Isak who may not be the elite of elite but teams have to fear/rant aspect and could turn the game and either we want pay the premium or that player doesn't want to come so I am already writing off next season. We need somebody to get 20 goals in the league and that isn't easy to come by. These last two years were the window and no trophies. At least the Ladies won the Champions League, I enjoyed that yesterday. Since Arsenal not in US this summer think I am going to see Manu and the lot in Atlanta.
If Ty Dolla Sign is the starting QB and we have some hiccups with the line, his legs and audacity will help offset some of that while they gel. Big Mack will need protection guarding that leadership and height. Keelon is Weapon X.

No better way to spend a day then having breakfast in Schenly Park, spending midday game in a half empty not Heinz Field watching them sweet baby blue and golds do weird things that coach Narduzzi tells them to do and then relaxing on the Alleghany halfway watching an afternoon Pirates game. It beats the atmosphere of State College every single time. That place should be raised to the ground.

I think Miller was/is a high school Bball coach and transitioned to an agent when NIL kicked off. He and Udonis Haslem have a good podcast, on occasion he talks about it.

Definitely sucks for Tatum but it probably puts JD in a better place regardless of who they draft. Celtics are way into tax and they would have been happy to eat it and run it back next year with the chance of winning the title, but with Tatum out until 2026-2027 season there is a good chance they try to move some pieces (Jrue, Porzingis, Howzer etc.) for some expirings contracts if they feel the current group can't win it next year which will likely make space for JD on the NBA roster. I think he would be more diserable on thier NBA roster even if they drafted a first round guard for financial and system reasons.

Random cameo in Bball thread.

Up in New England local sports believe Celtics are pretty high on JD, he just signed a two way deal, G league MVP, gets good reviews for his play. Things can change quickly but I think he is good with the Cs for a little while and if he isn't I think some one will grab him up quick and get a steal. Even if they took JP dont think it would impact JD.

Still want a Bama/Pitt home and home.
PSG better team. Got to figure out how to get some attack in next season.

Inter/PSG will be good match.
Amazing match! Inter absolutely deserve it. Man I wish Arsenal had Thuram, love his hold up play.

Lamine Yamal is going to be legendary, so good.
Inter/Barca playing maybe the greatest blow for blow two leg tie ever. Absolutely outstanding. This is the real final.
Even with the small chance of advancing to the UCL final, it is clear this season was mismanaged and it started with recruitment. It is clear the league and Champions League was there to be had this year and the lack of recruitment, led to inadequate offensive production and injuries, which will ultimately cause a trophy less season. The sad part for me is it is clear this everyone will strengthen in the transfer window and Arsenal will end up settling for back up plans and players with potential abs no real stars or clear impact players like we typically do.
