In an interview with 247Sports, Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi made it clear that he doesn't care for Deion Sanders' massive roster overhaul at Colorado this offseason...

quote:

"That's not the way it's meant to be," Narduzzi said. "That's not what the rule intended to be. It was not to overhaul your roster. We'll see how it works out but that, to me, looks bad on college football coaches across the country. The reflection is on one guy right now but when you look at it overall — those kids that have moms and dads and brothers and sisters and goals in life — I don't know how many of those 70 that left really wanted to leave or they were kicked in the butt to get out."

He's right. Regardless of how bastardized the sport has become, it shouldn't be this way.

Sorry but with NIL and the portal, these players can toughen up and face the real world.

The players wanted this stupidity. They can live with the consequences.

It’s Deion’s that’s on the line. If he keeps the same trash players and shows no improvement then he’s the one getting hammered. He used the rules in place to better the team and I don’t blame him one bit.

if they had been a little better team, maybe the coach wouldn't have been fired and maybe so many of them wouldn't have had to transfer

Prime time is so full of himself that even he may not know what a train wreck he is. He and the CU boosters will find out soon enough.

In the age of NIL, college players are professionals and all free agents. They leave when they want and they can get cut from the roster at any time too. They wanted this and they got it.

Not many actually wanted it, but you are 100% correct this is the system. Can’t have it both ways.

A recruit to a different team that had an official visit at Colorado said that Deion is completely different than his public image. The kid said he really liked Deion and that he knows he can turn around CU. Whatever is going on, it's clear Deion can recruit considering the number and quality of kids he's gotten so far.

It's gonna take a while for all of these new players to jell. In year 2, Prime's gonna have a winning season and maybe better. But if he only wins 1 game this year, let it be against USC.

I don't believe he will have a winning season in the next 4 years.

As a coach for 30 years myself & a LSU student trainer during my college years I am absolutely appalled by this ‘Coach’ who doesn’t seems to have no scruples & heart. If this sets a precedent for college football & occurs often college football is doomed. Instead of Coach Prime it should be Coack JackAss

They're all professional athletes now, they should be treated like one.

Exactly. I don't like it either. But, they wanted to essentially be professionals.
