hope you are not including yourselves in this statement?

We’re not talking about Karr and Curtis

You need to inform just about everyone on this planet who uses championships as a primary metric for greatness in sports.

Everybody isn’t as smart as me

so his team winning more than any other have a lot to do with his legacy as a Saints QB?

Yeah over time and just being likable and (most importantly) STAYING

But whether he won that Super Bowl or not he was still awesome

Drew Brees didn't cement his legacy by winning a Super Bowl? Would he be viewed the same had the Saints lost to the Colts?

That team cemented their legacy in the Super Bowl, but it was year 4 for Drew here. It’s all the yards, TDs, and stats that made him the Saints’ GOAT later in his career (and yes, the near misses when we had the best team)

But that’s 1 Saints Super Bowl in 60 years. The Cubs have one title in like 120. Pelicans are about as far away from a title as you can be.

And think about this. With the records he set and all, if the Saints lose that Super Bowl, Brees would still be the Saints GOAT for getting us there once and to the NFC Championship Game 3 times, along with all the playoff wins

philosophy by the coaching staff to bring the team together and play tough opponents early in the season.

The numbers might say it’s the toughest, but I don’t think BM’s schedule is particularly tough for them… it’s all teams about as good as they are

If they wanted a tough schedule they’d schedule teams like Carrollton GA or North Shore TX. Those would be tough opponents for BM

This is how it works in every single sport at every level.

Not when you’re a Cubs, Saints, Pelicans fan

Oh yeah? When did Jayden win a national title here? That’s news to me. Billy and Joe have one.

You don’t win a national title without great teammates… it isn’t Jayden’s fault he didn’t have them

That's dumb bc Cam was way better and more important to the program.

Cam was only there one year

Again, when there has been an 80/20 bill on the floor in one form or another for over a year and is being effectively blocked in one house by the very party that created it, you have bigger problems than college sports.

What’s 80/20 about it? Limiting NIL or transfers in any way is a non-starter for Democrats because the black community gets most of it

Society in general. Not Chalmette (this time)

Fans need to stop obsessing over the stadiums. It doesn’t really make the game better and experience better if you are focused on the actual sport. All it does is drive up the price of the game.

You don’t think Cowboys fans gloat about Jerry World?

Why I’m hearing Aug is taking white QBs now bro?

We’ve had a white head coach in the SWAC…

he's trying at a place no one else wanted to try

I mean Deion’s still mentally stuck in 1994 when Colorado was a powerhouse

You still have 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8…

Are we really supposed to give a shite what Jayden wants? He didn’t win any championships for us.

He won the Heisman. He did his job.
quote:

Offensive pass interference shouldn’t be a 15-yard penalty. It should be loss of down and 5 yards. I know the goal is for it to be the same penalty as the defense would suffer, but a 15-yards penalty inherently hurts the offense worse than the defense because 25+ yards to go in a set of downs is almost always insurmountable.

So question, we have automatic first downs for the offense, can we get automatic fourth downs for the defense?

I must be missing something?
quote:

His only chance of success was being able to comvince really good/great recruits and transfers to come to Colorado. For the most part that hasn't happened.

That’s another thing he missed the boat on… how you think he’d recruit would have worked better years ago. Now it takes NIL money and the Big XII doesn’t have it like the Big Ten and SEC

Not sure where he will finish, but if you ask me "who's the one RB you wouldn't want to tackle running full speed", he'd be #1.

Derrick Henry is single-handedly making all the defensive backfields bigger just to stop him

well they’re probably better than a few of them
