I know a guy…

Seems to have worked out pretty well for him

USC won’t even play them anymore.
hiding behind their mediocrity to have an easier path… playing Notre Dame wasn’t an issue for Leinart and Bush…

There’s no such thing for Chinese Rice grad in San Francisco or Shenzhen.

There’s no such thing at any Rice game if everyone you network with is at a Texas or A&M game

We could dominate Houston recruiting in the NIL era.
how, you don’t play in the SEC

ND isn't in a Bowl game that factors into naming the National Champion, their history suggests they don't care to participate

Didn’t they play in Shreveport once?

just read the Box Score. How the hell was Lindsey Scott eligible to play today?
everyone’s eligible for college sports now, didn’t you hear?
Looks like a female Sam Cassell

i want the SEC to make more money than everyone else then LSU will be at an advantage
you don’t want college football to turn into college baseball where we’re the only conference that matters…

He’s so elite Ohio State is the best program in the country

Could he win an MVP one day?

The correct question is “Could he win 5 MVPs one day?”

I mean that’s not really a flex… teams that don’t deserve fans shouldn’t get fans

Have a mid year here, hit the portal.

You think every time a kid hits the portal it’s because they want to?
quote:

Yeah, it was Ole Miss and not the fact that they were going to blow away Tulane on a channel no one watches, going against the NFL. Add to that they got nearly 50% more viewers than Oregon did in a primetime slot. Definitely Ole Miss

People have heard about Tulane and at least it’s believable that they could have a great year and make the CFP.

But JMU has played FBS football for like 4 years… Duke probably should have had that spot

The thing about the G5s is not that they’re worse than before with the system funneling players up into P4, but also that the P4 is better than they used to be… there’s no such things as holes on a P4 roster that they can’t plug quickly now in the portal with accomplished players who will leave where they’re at to be there. The money is there and they’re in conferences players want to play in.

PGA Tour has been enforcing a 1 year suspension for golfers who play in a non sanctioned event. Koepka’s last LIV event was on 8/24/25 so he would be eligible to return 8/24/26 - if they follow that policy.

Who did they suspend that moves the needle like Koepka?

Landry fixed LSU Athletics

I don’t think 100% of LSU fans are behind Lane.

Probably because he’s Lane

We thought BK was a mercenary
quote:

Landry is a very very intelligent man. You might not agree with some things....welcome to Louisiana politics, but you aren't smart if you think jeff is dumb.

And he’s a grandstander… you think he believes half of what he says and the positions he has?

wasn’t just that play, there were many other blunders all game long that seemed uncharacteristic

Or they were just being G5 teams in a meaningless bowl game…
quote:

College sports has no governing body and it shows. Everything is completely free for all chaos. Every school, every conference, every coach, every player. Everyone just doing whatever they want.

So question,

Does the fact that the schools AGREE to all applicable rules and regulations to play in March Madness not mean anything anymore?

What is the legal basis for basically any other athletic association out there to have rules if the NCAA isn’t allowed to have them?
Looks like the Big Head mode from the 90s video games

How did Cowboys practice facility get two bowl games?

Because all the money in the world wants to be in Dallas

‘98 he was like 58 years old but was in the hunt on Sunday… he finished T6 and that was the year Mark O’Meara won two majors
