re: LSU fans are an embarrassment

In my post I said there were legitimate questions about the defense. I’m no less disappointed than any of you. But I’ve read ridiculous stuff over the last 24 hours. It goes far beyond normal and deserved criticism, to throwing the whole team, coaches, and program under the bus. For the record, I do
LSU fans are an embarrassment

This just proves how unreasonable and ridiculous we are. There are legitimate discussions about Bo, the defense, and the energy of this team. However, we just lost 17 starters on the best team in NCAA history. The lack of grace shows you don’t really buy into Coach O, the team, or the tradition. Say

If you are TCU, you have to roll the dice on a talent like him. Just remember though, it’s rare to roll Yahtzee.

It’s funny you guys don’t know. He was a track star. He’s also in the volleyball hof.
Wilt was fast
Wilt was at a party with legendary NFL running back Jim Brown when they got into an argument about who is faster. So they did what any two athletes would do and they went outside, took their shoes

Guys, you just sound dumb. Learn some basketball history.
Wilt 7’1”, Shaq 7’0”
Wilt 310 playing weight, shaq 315-30 at best
4.6 40 for wilt; 5.8 for shaq
12’9” max reach wilt, 12’5” shaq
Bench press; wilt 500 lbs, did 465 at 59
Shaq highest ever 450
I mean I love Shaq, and tough to compare

As much as I love Shaq, Wilt was far more dominant, bigger, stronger, and faster. Not even a conversation. Still Shaq is an all time great.

Let kids sign pro contracts, enter the draft, but play in college.

Elias is a top player for sure. It’s tough to evaluate the season of a top corner in high school because no one ever throws the ball on his side of the field.

I agree. I voiced my concerns on this site about “processing” before it began. This wasn’t good. With that said, the coaches I’m sure thought through all this. Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt.

I would say he made a calculated risk, and I approve. We didn’t lose much, and stood to gain much more. Plus, recruiting isn’t over and if we don’t sign 25 we can sign extra next year.

I have been recruited as a player, and participated in recruiting as a coach albeit in basketball. When you lose trust, you lose credibility. Long term that affects recruiting. I’m not saying you don’t tell certain kids playing time will be tough, etc. However, you have to be very careful how this i
