it's bad compression but first let's start with phase bc everything needs to be in phase for clarity.
for example, a song with a kick drum solo in the beginning of the song...the kick sounds huge and monstrous, bc it's the only audible object. add the guitars, vocals, bass, rest of the drums keys etc. whatever and it gets lost but still felt. that's phase relations. certain things are in phase competing with other things that are out of phase. the speaker can only go in two directions, forward and backwards. if two objects are out of phase, the speaker will push and pull simultaneously and null out.
now that we understand phase we can discuss compression. you can use compression to "duck," so that when a voice comes into the picture, the background noise or song or whatever gets lowered bc of the compression and the voice is heard. as soon as the voice disappears, the song or whatever will go back up to the played volume. bad compression makes the music drown out the dialogue.
my two cents: the shite is mixed way too loud in movies and commercials. makes most things unwatchable and unlistenable.

He was pretty great. Came out swinging. Played some old rockers a few ballads and a really nice farewell song at the end.
We are all looking older.

Went to Angelle’s today. The bathrooms were wrecked and the place looked like it had not been cleaned in 10 years. Went to the coffee shop instead.

Nice. Mine is in the shop.
I found success in getting rid of mine in both feet by stretching. Very simple. Stretch before bed. Wake up and stretch. The PF is the weakest link in a chain of muscles that run from your back all the way down. Your hamstrings are huge and they will pull up your leg and the weakest link will break. Stretch those guys out. Bend the foot back get that Achilles stretched out. Get those calves nice and loose. All the other ideas and gimmicks may help but I personally found stretching to be the key. I used to have flare ups, I changed my behaviors. Zero PF issues since. Good luck. It’s very painful.

if you didn't use your boat as often, would you leave it plugged in?
you talking about Kat Weiss?

Did you put a protective coat around your boat and if so, do you reapply ever?

How regularly do you do maintenance on the motor and what do you do?

Anyone own one?
I’m buying one this week. Intro 2018 1910 bay.
Pretty excited. Test run was great.
Any advice?

My bad. You’re right. I was looking at the wrong grill that was metal and not ceramic.
Great suggestions thank you
Um this isn’t even remotely close to what I’m discussing here.
Side note: hey I bought a grill…downvotes lol
This place huh

thank you. it's by far the cheapest ceramic out there. that said, i find the build quality pretty solid. looking forward to it. i think the versatility is great and def has the potential to take a deep dive into the accessories and little tricks that you can do on this device. divide and conquer lol

Food peeps,
just bought the 18" Kamado Joe from Lowes @ $799.
is it me or is that just an insane price for this unit?
picking up tomorrow. very excited for this fall season and cooking on the new red guy.
anyone have tips, advice, or experience here? not new to grilling or smoking, but this is my first ceramic of my own.
