Following LSU's 27-16 loss to Florida on Saturday, linebacker Whit Weeks spoke with reporters about what went wrong on Jadan Baugh's 55-yard touchdown run that sealed the game for the Gators.

According to Weeks, it was a miscommunication issue, and half of the defensive players thought they were running two different plays.

Not great.

Never before in the annals of sports has such a change in history occurred in such a short period of time - the halftime break at the aTm game. I don't have a clue other than CBK seems to have lost this team.

Defense?? What defense,??

Such a disappointing season, especially since it looked like the team was finally coming together and gaining swagger after the Ole Miss and Arkansas wins. Even the first half of the A&M game. I don’t know what changed that trajectory so suddenly. Predictably and lack of balance on offense, for sure, but defense fell back into thinking too much again instead of just playing. The more game film that’s out there as the season rolls on is gonna kill you when you’re one-dimensional.

Yeah the offense sequence of run left, or up the middle, false start penalty, run to the right, pass, and sack has become nauseous to watch!!!

I don't know what is going on, but this team looks awfull and disorented. I think, that BK is blind and stone deaf. No leadership and control on this team and staff. The contract is insane. Look Vanderbilt is playing better than LSU.....

Wouldn’t have made any difference…however, this is why you don’t have players talking to the press.

No excuses coach BB,,,clearly CBK has lost all chemistry with the coaches and players,,instead coaching they are home counting green backs,,this is embarrassing,,

Way too many "issues" to be having this deep into the season. All problems point to Burger King.

Remember those LSU defenses that looked like this years South Carolina defense. I want that back.

I grew up in a defense-is-king era and got seduced by the Burrow/Daniels success.

But DEFENSE is what is in my blood. I cheer for good offensive results, but sulk and fume over bad defense.

And the moneyfication of the game, certainly after the Transfer Portals and NIL make it more like cheering for a professional group than a college-centered program.

sad to see that connection with the University so trampled.

It’s probably BK who decided to put the green dot on Sage Ryan. Baker seems too smart to do something dumb like that on his own.

The glaring issue is lack of talent. That's it. Lack of talent. It's no scheme or intensity. I mean yeah maybe those things would help, but it's just sheer lack of talent. The only way to get LSU defense better is an overhaul of new players on Defense. That is the sole only way it could happen.

Talent is better than any of the teams we’ve lost to. It’s players being given dumb plays to run or it’s not knowing what to do.

Alabama has more talent than LSU easily. Ole Miss has more talent although we won the game. I don't know for sure whether TAMU is more talented or not. Florida might be more talented. They really might be.

@CrystalPreserves the defensive backs can’t tackle and the interior OLine can’t block. It isn’t the plays or not knowing what to do, they just fricking suck.

There few good wins this season were more about the opposition. LSU has not gotten better. Maybe VU and OU willl regress. This season exposed the real BK whopper turd.

This season exposed how much Jayden won ball games for us. We're at tops 7-5 without him last year. Maybe 6-6.

Every time the offense stalled Jaden Cabell them out with his legs. He was the running game last year. There have been many times this season where NURSE could run and LSU could control the game but that has not happened. The running lanes have been there and as you saw yesterday, getting to the edge opened up the office more and made it more balanced. The defense is weak inside at the DT and there is zero push to get the QB off his spot. Then there is the safety spot.
