LSU head coach Lane Kiffin spoke with reporters after the Tigers' first day of spring practice on Tuesday and was asked about tight end Trey'Dez Green.

Kiffin talked about Green's elite skill set, but also stressed that what makes him so special is his elite mindset.

In his explanation, Kiffin mentioned safety Ty Benefield and offensive lineman Jordan Seaton, who stand out with Green as "ultra elite" players.

I'm hoping that TGreen will shine even brighter now under this new offense.

CLK separates himself from the average coach, just by showing how much he pays attention to details and his ability to verbalize what it takes to express how elite players behave and think. What he says here will cause every player to pause and have introspection about their behavior, which will help them emulate ultra elite thinking, which is required for performance excellence.
