SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic revealed his top five quarterbacks last week and pegged LSU quarterback Max Johnson at No. 3 behind Georiga's JT Daniels and Ole Miss' Matt Corral.

Notably left off the list was LSU quarterback Myles Brennan.

From a non tiger fans perspective this seems really dumb. Max won the Florida game for you guys but Myles looked like the better qb before his injury. Not to say Max is bad, he’s definitely a solid young qb but it seemed like Myles balled out for you guys every time he was on the field the rest of the team just let him down some. Didn’t he throw for over 400 yards against mizzou?

LSU fans love their back up QB's. He was a great game manager in that game. UF's QB had 3 turnovers and Max had zero. Good on him. The next week he lit up the worst defense in the history of the SEC by yard giving up. We act like he's a world beater and it's unfair to him. I'm going to pull for whoever is under center. At the end of the day the fanboys want Max and forgot about what myles accomplished in 3 games last season. Btw, those same fanboys were pumped about O's hires ( linehan and pelini) last year. Also, It's not myles fault his father isn't a giant bowlegged douche who posts on social media every day.

What an awful list. Young has never taken a snap. Jones can't throw. Johnson while we know is going to be a superstar you didn't get enough sample size to rank him that high. Horrible list.

Apparently, Cubelic is reporting what all the insiders are saying. Which is Max Johnson will be the starter. Nonetheless, I don't see Myles transferring until after the 2021 season is over because it is already too late for him to transfer and to be able to play for a new team in 2021. Hence, I see him remaining with LSU as the backup, while collecting NIL, then transferring out soon after the 2021 season ends. Moreover, I think he'll transfer to Ole Miss and be Lane Kiffin's starting QB next season.

If you have 2 starting QBs, you have none. You need 1 clear-cut starter. Make that decision and roll with it. The others fall in line or they transfer.
