What percent of your rant is actually true?

As usual, nobody.

Where did I say they weren't good QB's? I said that Riley won't be able to run up the scores on second-rate competition anymore in the SEC like he was able to do in the second-rate Big 12. So his days of producing Heisman winning QBs are over.
re: What would the 2018 season record be if Ed never lands burrow?
Posted by Purple Tiger King on 10/15/21 at 11:43 am
In 2018, Burrow was a very average QB. Then in 2019, after spending a full off-season under the tutelage of Steve Ensminger, Burrow morphed into the Greatest College Football QB of all time.
Furthermore, kudos for Ed O for going out there to get Joe Burrow and for coaching the greatest college football team ever in college football history.
However, now it's time for new blood as his previous success has turned him into a complacent lazy football coach that takes his job and football team for granted.

Stop spelling hype, hipe, and go back to elementary school! Just an observation.

In the Big 12 conference, Riley was a good head coach. In the SEC conference, Riley is an average coach at best.
I sure hope Woodward doesn't go after Riley because that guy can't coach a team that can play defense for nothing, and in the SEC, if you can't produce teams with good defenses, then your days are very numbered.

develop QBs.
Riley's days of producing Heisman winning QBs will be over as soon as OU enters the SEC. Why? Because he won't be able to run up the score against second-rate competition anymore in the SEC to pad his QB's numbers as he was able to do in the second-rate Big 12 conference. Those days will be over.

No shite. How did you arrive at that conclusion?

What about the blatant lack of respect he’s shown towards the program and his position since 2019?
Really? Blatant lack of respect? Okay, detail that for us.
I mean the dude loves LSU! He just lost his focus and drive and as a direct result, the program has slipped and now he is losing his job because of it.
Some of you guys make it sound like Ed O is a serial rapists or guilty of cold-blooded murder.

Common sense says Ed O stays. All he is guilty of is losing his drive and focus and then slacking. It's not like he is deliberately sabotaging the Tigers and losing games intentionally.
Damn, all this blind hatred towards Ed O is utterly unhinged.
You know in the coaching profession, one day you are a hero and then another day you are a zero.
People need to chill out.

Any LSU head coach who wins a natty is a legend.
Meanwhile, losing your focus and drive and failing to do your job adequately, doesn't make a person a villain.
Some of you loons are taking your hatred a little too freaking far.
I mean, the guy loves LSU. He just lost his focus and his drive that he had before he won the natty. It's gone. He no longer has it. Hence, it's time for him to be replaced by someone else.

Man, every time there is a coaching search at LSU, John Gruden is always the leading candidate. Yeah right, thanks for boring us to death again.

It’s Napier, Aranda, or somebody we haven’t thought of yet that is out of left field.
So only candidates who are totally unproven head coaches should be legitimate coaching candidates. Meanwhile, real legitimate coaching candidates aren't qualified, according to you, a loon.

he retired because the stress, anxiety and grind of being a college football coach was getting to be too much.
That's what he said, but according to those close to Petersen, he really retired because he hated the AD that replaced Woodward.
re: What do we know about Chris Petersen?
Posted by Purple Tiger King on 10/14/21 at 12:46 pm
Petersen is at the top of my list to replace Ed O. I know a lot of people say he will never come out of retirement. However, those same people said no one would ever steal him away from Boise State until Scott Woodward did it. Hence, if anyone an coax Petersen out of retirement, it's Scott Woodward.
re: Napier is holding out for the big fish.
Posted by Purple Tiger King on 10/13/21 at 8:15 pm
He isn't qualified for LSU. Let him go be a big fish somewhere else.

Screw Napier, he is not qualified to coach LSU.

Hated the hire. Wanted Jimbo.
Jimbo is just as bad as Ed O, maybe even worse. With Jimbo and his antiquated crappy offense, no way LSU would have won a Natty like Ed O did had Jimbo been hired.
