I'm not breaking ground here, but Joe Espada sucks. Bringing in your closer, especially one who rarely throws clean innings, with a 5-run lead is insane.

Hows the schn+ app working for you guys that are using it? I keep getting knocked offline. My other tv is fine.

Fine on TV. I've had issues on the phone, though.

This is painful.

I feel better now.

Joke's on me. Sorry, bad sports day. Was in fire now, aim late mode.

Defense and rebounding. The defense tonight was atrocious, save for isolated instances here and there.
1 legitimate run in 2 games against the Angels.

Hard to turn chicken shite into chicken salad. Maybe they’ve gotten worse at identifying reclamation projects because this GM sucks.

As it should, Mulkey isn’t even a good coach anyways.

She's won four national championships. Your comment is one of the dumbest in the history of this forum, and that's saying a lot.

But the mediocre middle they are kind of stuck in and the lack of dynamic young position player talent makes it tough. And consistently stranding runners is a dick kicking way to lose games.

They were boring last year. They were boring yesterday. Watching Yainer and Smith, in particular, yesterday was infuriating. They’re just up there swinging with no plan.

It’s just 1 game, but I hope the offense isn’t as bad as it was last year. Two hits in 6 innings against Jose Soriano and 3 overall. Woof.

re: CNN bigly mad at Wade hiring

Ah, Dana O'Neil. Longtime college basketball writer who's slammed Wade for years, but turned a blind eye to Rick Pitino. The fact that she's not even at a sports media entity now tells you all you need to know about how irrelevant she's become.
I had no idea Soriano had the Astros number historically. Imagine being dominated lifetime by Jose fricking Soriano.
So they still have a need for Paredes, their best hitter last year. I had been told the infield situation was untenable.
By all accounts, he's a good guy, and he has a family. As a fan, you can be happy he's gone, happy for him he's got a buyout, feel bad it didn't work out and feel bad for him and his family. All of those feelings are not mutually exclusive.

Bilas is a hypocritical twat. I noticed he never turned down his ESPN salary for calling games involving unpaid college basketball players before NIL.

Rehiring a coach you fired looks like one of the most boneheaded moves of all time

We're hiring a guy who was fired for being singled out for doing something everyone else was doing. He's good at it, and it's now legal. And the idiot who fired him is no longer at the university.
We made the tournament every year there was one (would have made the 2020 tourney too if COVID hadn't canceled it) except his first year. Under the coach before him and the coach after him, we went to the tournament once in 9 years.

Wade makes us relevant. I didn't say "title contenders." I'm happy being relevant in men's basketball.

No, if you read that story, WBRZ is reporting On3 reported LSU to hire Wade.
