At this point, we may as well install the purple field.

This is getting ridiculous. What are we? Oregon now? Just an underachieving squad with 10 alternative jersey combinations? You know who won't be wearing something alternative? Oklahoma! You know why? Because they have a historical look like we did at one point. BK really got us fast tracked to mediocre. How bout you worry about winning football games instead of rolling out a new uni combo each week.

I was hoping for Gold on Gold on Gold.

I’d like to see LSU in the best unis in college football - the classic - and with a traditional nasty defense. Ffs! I’ve had bama fans tell me our classic unis are the best in football.

Why not the purple helmets with the white set ?

As long as LSU doesn't start using non-traditional colors (like black or gray, as Oregon has done), I'm fine with alternates. Variety is good.

It's fine it generates buzz like it did last week. We have played them and won a natty in our traditional uniforms already.

LSU has worn white helmets almost as much as traditional gold this year. First season that’s happened. I guess you have to be Oregon to get recruits in the TikTok age #Swag #RespekMyDecision

Be a damn brand. Oklahoma at home and we wear alternates? We are Ole Miss. Embarrassing.

Not a fan of the white helmet. Feel the identity of the LSU uniform is the gold helmet. Baseball we love our gold jerseys. Football you flip through channels and see those helmets and know who is on TV. Many teams have white helmets but that shade of gold is all LSU.

Those white helmets are probably my favorite.
