Not a popular opinion but I think we should never have left Iraq or Afghan. Those countries should have become small forward bases like Germany Korea and Japan. Permanently and forever US should have a presence and enforcement at those countries. We thought they were enough of a threat to go there we should never have left and we would be the custodians of those oil reserves and mines. Who give a a frick what everyone thinks. U.S. going there without the intent of staying and controlint anything good that could have come out of those shite holes. Edit: At least till every single penny we spent fighting there was paid

They fricked up. They allowed there govt to implement policies that allowed them to be over run and changed the demographic values and structure. They took the route of California and it’s too late…
