Find The River - REM

That preceded by Man on the Moon/Nightswimming make for one of my favorite three song stretches on an album ever. Find the River is the perfect ending.

Ed Harris was great in this

Everyone was great in this.
Music sounds seriously and greatly akin to the heyday of Deep Purple and Machine Head. I kinda wish I couldn't read the lyrics as they seemed...average at best.

However, I'll still turn it up and give it a chance in the car.

Thanks for sharing.

Not the original but Linda's version is what first introduced me to this song. Great live version.

The folks I know with them usually have the guy using it more.

What do you think when you see one of these? Do you automatically assume that one of them cheated in the past?

Probably, or just a crazily jealous spouse. My wife wants nothing to do with my account.

I often use this as my wake up alarm.

In his book Frampton said he was told Paul McCartney would be in the movie so he signed on. Didn't happen.

Why all the downvotes? Did they not see the actual foot?

I'll have to check that out.

I'm assuming many of you have heard the song he did with his daughter Romany? Great song, Dad's solo around the 5:00 mark.

One of my favorite memes was always the one with her on guitar.

Absolutely Yea!

Seem him twice. Great guitarist. Great voice.

I actually read his autobiography a couple of years ago. Some interesting stuff there. Seems his manager was connected to the Genovese family. And while PF said that any issues during tours, recording, whatever were "handled", the guy also kept him drugged up to cover his financial dealings (stealing) and after his huge burst of fame he wasn't left with much.

He also went to the same school as David Bowie growing up, and Frampton's Dad said Bowie was one of his best art students. After Frampton's career cooled Bowie asked him to play guitar on his Glass Spiders tour.

He has a progressive muscle disorder that affects his fingers, but still tours and records as long as he can.

Book is a quick read if you're a fan.

I'm still a year or two away from chucking the working life, but my advice is to travel more than you ever have.

As one retired YouTube influencer says,

"ADVENTURE BEFORE DEMENTIA".

Plan a trip, and even if it's only once a year, start planning the next as soon as you're back. The wife and I have already started hitting Europe in the last few years and can't wait to have more time to see more places.

Tulane Fan, PLUS only 25 posts in 3 1/2 years and then you decide to post this?

Just brilliant...
Too many in each category, but here goes.

Favorite (one of several): Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters/Elton John
(If you want a treat go to YouTube and see the Wilson sisters of Heart sing it with two acoustic guitars)

Hated song: Come on Eileen/Dexy's Midnight Runners.
(I always said my idea of hell would be stuck in a Joann's Fabric Store for eternity with this song playing on a loop)

They all have their place and everyone's opinion is different, but I do love that album because it gave us "The Rain Song".

My personal list?

1. LZ
2. Physical Graffiti
3. LZ IV
4. LZ II
4. Presence (I think I like it more than most folks)
5. Houses of the Holy
6. LZ III
7. In Through the Out Door

I guess Coda is on the album list but I consider it more of a compilation album. I'd put The Song Remains the Same live album before it.
1. The Exorcist
3. A Nightmare on Elm Street

1. The Shining
3. Texas Chainsaw Massacre

1. Halloween
2. Alien

1. Jaws
2. The Thing
