Curne probably took his job at LG. Screw it go get him. 6’4” 335 yes please.
Good luck if you actually think Deuce Knight stays and sits another year if Ole Miss added someone like Lagway who is going to Baylor. That kid will hit the eject button so fast your head will spin. Also, if you think John David Baker and Pete Golding are equal to Lane Kiffin, Charlie Weis Jr. and Blake Baker then I have some oceanfront property in Arizona I’ll sell you cheap!
I’d rather Clark than Knight but he was my #3 behind Leavitt and Clark. He’s going to be a really damn good starting QB for Ole Miss. They got a good one.

This is getting ridiculous.
He can run but damn the kid has a cannon on him. Time on task against better players and I think he could be a top QB in the SEC. We have to close this before he leaves.
Blake Sims is why I wish we held onto Ju’Juan Johnson. Johnson couldn’t be any worse of a passer than Sims was.
Your 3rd option plays it means your season is fricked anyway. If they can’t find a 3rd QB (they will) Emile Picarella could ge the 3rd string.
I agree but I’d at least try. Love this Clarke kid.
I doubt his parents let him come to LSU. They were supposedly pissed at how the Williams news changed their visit to LSU. Get Clarke and Deuce Jones.
I’m fine with getting Clark as I truly think he can start in the SEC but as insurance with the money you’d save from not getting Leavitt I would use to get Deuce Knight or the USC transfer kid so you at least have 2 options.

At least we have a backup center, thats very important as I’m not sure the younger Bordelon is ready to step in if Moore gets hurt. Moore still hasn’t officially announced he’s not going to the draft, has he?
I’m good with our LB unit as long as Whit’s foot/ankle is 100%. If you have any doubt about his i jury I would look at Yates. Otherwise I like our young talent.

re: Is Leavitt worth the money?

He’s worth it if he really plans to stay 2 years and only if we get the QB from Elon to be his backup in case his foot injury keeps him out.
Overrated? Please explain how this guy is overrated? He’s more than likely the #1 pick as well. Dante Moore just torpedoed his draft stock. He basically has no choice but to come back to school next year which takes Oregon out of the Leavitt race.
Trey is also coming into his own. Z, Trey and Queen are really starting to play well with each other.
We need a 210-215 back that can break or run through tackles. Berry is a 10 touch type RB whether its running or receiving. We still need a bigger back that has good vision and athleticism, I think we will be fine at RB.
I really hope we land this guy. He wouldn't cost you 7 figures more than likely he could be had for $750K a year plus rev share whatever it is to make it all add up to $1 million.
We need big, mean maulers inside that aren't soft. Hell I miss the old Les Miles OL special of 5 road grader guards and no true tackles. At least then we could tell the defense toss dive and still pick up a 3rd and 2.
