Cousins will make them harder to beat than Penix ever would. I wouldn’t have taken Penix until the 5th round and they burned a top 10 pick on someone that benefited from a good WR in a weak conference. Guy has a slow, long delivery and isnt a big running threat.

Tank won’t ever fill up the stat sheet but he alone won the game for LSU yesterday with his amazing 4th down stop at the goal line where he went over the pile and stuffed Arky’s QB. He’s an absolute brick wall against the run and he’s probably the strongest player on the team. He’s always been a team first guy that has never complained or been a problem. He’s going to have a nice NFL career as a run stopping nose tackle.

Except LSU is a top 5 destination. You don’t go higher unless he goes to the NFL and I believe Lane knows he’s way better as a college coach. If he came and won he could be there 10 years or more.

Hell no. You at least bring in a transfer QB with starting experience to compete with him. If he wins the competition then ok but he has a ways to go as a passer and he throws a wounded bird of a deep ball. Anytime I saw him throw downfield deep, even the one or two that were caught, the ball wobbled instead of a spiral.

He’s going to Florida. I don’t understand why, even with all the bullshite this last week, LSU is still the best job currently available. No other team has a state that has young talent with no other major school in Louisiana to have to fight. I hope I’m wrong but I think he’s going to Florida if he leaves Oxford.
