I think it is possible. And I’m not really sure what research is needed.
Lack of- Food, water, shelter will turn opinions quickly.
Trumps approval will be 30 to 35% by the end May and we will have fuel shortages on half the planet. Unemployment, stagflation and a Democrat landslide if this continues into late June or July. That doesnt even cover the part where hundreds of dead Americans come home in boxes every week.
We do not have the appetite for this war because this war makes no sense.
Yall dont even have the knowledge that Iran is in better shape at this moment than they were a month ago. Youre all so fricking glib and think that were on the verge of an historic victory. Not even close. Our strategy was horseshite and Iran has us by the shorthairs.

Trump fricked his base. I will never forgive him if he does this. Never.

Iran behaves predictably and rationally and in its own best interests (unlike the USA).
They would not do this until and unless the US or Israel forces them to do this.

A handsome young lad said last night on his programme that the USS Gerald Ford was almost certainly hit by an Iranian drone and we've been gaslit about a "kitchen fire".
We've also lost nearly all of our bases in that region.
We are losing the war and Trump team is lying.

It was stupid strategy. We should have deported as many illegals as possible from red states where there were no protests.
Instead we stupidly poked the left and now we get no mass deportations from here on out.
Tampon Tim and Jacob Walz won. The leftists out strategized Trump and ended mass deportations in about a year.

What We Voted for:
mass deportations
no new wars
End to unnecessary foreign H1Bs
What we got:
Nonstop foreign excursions (4 so far)
1 new war
No mass deportations
Russia / Ukraine war still going strong
More foreign H1Bs
mass deportations

We literally deported 350,000 people so far in 13 months.
The self deportation numbers are bullshite - based on a phony calculation that Noem and Trump 47 use to gaslight their base into thinking its really happening.

The 1.6 to 2 million figure isn't based on people checking a box saying "I am leaving." It is based on a decline in the number of foreign-born respondents in the monthly CPS.
The Fault: Critics argue this doesn't mean people left the country; it means they stopped answering the door.
The Causal Link: Increased enforcement and "self-deportation" ad campaigns create a "climate of fear." When immigrants see government-affiliated surveyors, they "hunker down" and refuse to participate. The survey then records a "drop" in population that is actually just a drop in participation.
Summary: The 1.6 million figure is essentially a "statistical artifact." It interprets a lack of survey data as a physical absence of people, effectively counting "fear of being found" as "proof of having left.

Why are you so in favour of this Iran thing?
You were pretty liberal / anti Trump up until now if I recall correctly.

Trump has really checkmated himself
We either:
A. leave now and get a D+ shite sandwich that he tries to spin
B. Get into a new forever war that definitely be an F- short term (1 year min) and likely an F- for the long term as well.

Hes gaslighting.
The Iranians position appears to be incredibly strong. Yes they have lost the two or three layers of leadership, but the ruling party has a stronger grip on power today than it did a month ago. They hold many cards.
Trump is the one who is trapped and who will struggle to find terms that aren't humiliating.
