Do you really believe the right coach reads Yahoo Sports?

You think they don’t?
Does anyone honestly doubt that LSU breaks its playoff drought with 74 year old (and older) Saban on the sideline?

As you wish…

Have yourself a downvote!

Guess you have not made a women’s bball game.. they are packed.. fans on their feet.. lots of fan reaction to refs etc.. But stay
home and wash your hair instead .

Good call…I hadn’t washed mine since that morning anyway.

Hundreds are going to come across this devastating Yahoo hit piece :(

I’m more worried about the right coach coming across it and deciding to stay put.
There’s no better way to draw in a quality replacement than to tie up the last guy’s buyout in court with vague allegations of misconduct.

Forget interference from the governor’s office. The governor will be long gone by the time you get your payout if we fire you.

Now THAT’s a situation that Lane Kiffin wants to be all in on!
Good Lord. Some of y’all just need to let it go…kind of like LSU did with BK.

Let it go and move on.
Yeah…that was a long, long walk back to the car after that one…

Juan Betanzos (Look it up!) He was an LSU kicker that was booed so often for missing (which he did a lot) that when he finally made one he ran to the student section and flipped them off (there is a famous picture of it)

I think you got your kickers mixed up. I recall that being Ronnie Lewis who flipped off the fans.

What a loser you are haha just enjoy the win and stfu

Yessir, Mr. Rattler!
HAHAHAHA!!!

Just kidding! The Satins are .500 with Shough. What’s their record with that other guy again? How many consecutive wins would they have to have with him in order to reach .500 like they have with Shough in two weeks?

Silly, silly Rattler fanbois…

YES!

A young and hungry up and comer with something to prove!

MUST BE YOUNG!!!

Well how about the fricking game where’s he’s scored TD on 100% of drives dumbass

And how many drives would that be?

More importantly, how many drives against starting defenders would that be?

Here ya go then. Why do we keep qbs that can't play??????

They make good backups.

Like MVB!
Maybe because they see him every day at practice and realize in their professional opinions that…

…MVB doesn’t necessarily give LSU a better chance.

They both could say no, and then this search starts all over with other top coaching names already committed elsewhere.

I sure hope you’ve passed this insight along to the BOS. I’m sure nobody else had considered this until now!
Officially?

No.

But it kills their credibility with the actual decision makers and would therefore be a poor practice for one’s career longevity.

Per my reliable sauce: LSU offered and he turned it down. Next man up….

Whether it’s in the board room, the bedroom, or the coaching search, one should never assume that the first rejection is the final word…
Do they list Nick Saban odds for any other job?

No?

Then he isn’t third most likely for the LSU job. If he decides to get back into coaching, then nobody else has any shot at LSU. The rest of the list instantly becomes a list of one as LSU basically gives him anything and everything to come back. There is no scenario where Nick Saban says “I’d like to coach again, but I’m going to do it at UF, Penn State, or Auburn instead of at LSU.”

Conversely, if Saban starts accepting offers, LSU isn’t passing that up to offer to the likes of Jon Sumrall.

These odds are completely ridiculous.
