Wilson Alexander of The Advocate has reported some details on Lane Kiffin's new deal at LSU.
Kiffin and LSU agreed to a seven-year, $91 million deal, according to his term sheet. His $13 million-per-year deal makes him one of just two coaches, along with Georgia's Kirby Smart, earning at least $13 million.
According to Alexander, Kiffin's contract includes an automatic escalator that would make him the highest-paid coach in the country if he wins the national championship.
