They were established. People have bought the smallest live cage traps and have caught and released deliberately. It’s mostly practiced by hunters in west Feliciana parish hunting clubs.

Ain’t seeing shite. Departure at 9am due to cooking obligations for the Burbon and cheerios game at 11. I’m done with this lease until someone shows up with a dead deer on the back of a 4 wheeler, then I’ll go sit out here again.

Mission xbow, 20” bolt with 100 gr slick trick
Ducked off the plot into the few hardwoods we have left. In a camp stand that’s big enough to party in. I’d like to see a deer at least.

I had a deer in the cutover behind me (downwind)blowing at me around 8. Only living thing besides myself and a Cooper’s hawk so far.

Turkey chair on south end of oil seed radish plot (top of highest hill on the place). Dry as a powder house fart but radish greens along with summer weeds are still green. Camera on this plot has a boar hog showing up every other morning and does every night. If the hog keeps his schedule, I’ll shoot within the next hour. Good luck to all out today.
