Just remember, if its cheap for you, its cheap for them too.

Above ground pool pump replacement

Posted by Roy Curado on 2/7/26 at 12:56 am
I am not blue collar and not really great with mechanical stuff but I can follow instructions and youtube videos well. The most mechanical things ive ever done was change my break pads and rotors on my truck before.

With that being said, is replacing a 1.5 hp above ground water pump reasonable or are there any challenges I should consider? Decent price range to getting someone out here to deal with it instead?
Ive heard a decent amount of positive reviews on Twins.

My personal favorite is Caluda's cream cheese.

I like Duke's over Don's but they are both the best in BR.

Why not start your on financial advising firm and be your own boss?
This will build rapport faster than making people sit for 30 mins to hear about some lame BR story.

Very pleased with my Sony Bravia 8 65". I paid 1400 for it 6 months ago so the 75" may be closer to $2k
I think taking time off is a form of negotiation.

First and foremost, if you have the time and want it, use it. There are some caveats though. If you are in a big project or know one will be due during that time, then maybe schedule your leave around it if you can. If not, just give a big advance notice that you will be taking it so management can plan accordingly.

Request 2 weeks off 1 month before a project that has been know all year is due and place the extra work on other co-workers... not okay.

Request 2 weeks off 6 months before you know a big project is due... okay.

At the end of the day, be considerate when requesting your time off but dont be scared to take it. The business is considerate by giving you time off to begin with. There are many companies and professions that do not offer PTO...
I know Southwest has gone down in popularity due to recent changes. However, I wanted to share this promo they are offering that I have taken advantage of for my wife and I before.

Unlimited Companion Pass Use Promo, details below:

• Register, then book a qualifying round trip or two qualifying one-way flights by Thursday 2/5.
• Travel by 3/31.
• Companion flies free* with you 8/10–10/7/2026.

You can switch companion up to 3 times during the promo. You can only add a companion to a flight when you are awarded the pass (probably sometime in early August).
If they are already cooked, just boil them any other way you would crabs but only until they are heated.

If I were you, I would just do a pot of boiling water with some liquid crab boil or just steam them for about 5 mins with a bunch of JO's or Old Bay.

Probably coming from someone addicted to drugs.
Have a friend that works at Dow Plaq who is constantly saying his life is miserable at that company. Makes too much money to care to leave it though.

Constantly tripping, blowing up, old mechanisms, processes are outdated, hes shocked nobody has been killed in a few years there.

Monarch Money Management

Anyone use Monarch? Any tips and tricks for a newcomer? I just spent like 2-3 hours connecting all my accounts and going through transactions over the last 60 days.
I sleep absolutly horrible if I do not shower at night.
I made it through my bachelor and master’s degree by having only read 4-5 books in their entirety since I learned to read.

I read so much other stuff (news articles, research, reports, social media, etc) that I just don’t want to read a book.

I think it's very underrated around BR. They have my favorite fried shrimp in town by far. I am usually pretty skeptical of big and busy menus, but somehow they pull it off. Their sweet potato hush puppies are just fantastic.
Ive my Astro A50s for about 5 years and they are still trucking along with great quality.

They have an update version I think called the A50x. Pricey but absolutely worth it.
They are certainly not the first in the country to be using drones. The title is misleading.

Gotta be the same owners. The "mongolian" grill was what Foo Chow use to have and they discontinued it.

I went on opening day.

They did a great job at marketing it as the next best buffet in BR.

Its just your typical Chinese buffet, nothing special. Deep friend hard shell blue crabs, sesame chicken, "Crab" Rangoons with just cream cheese as the filing, salt and pepper chicken, basic sushi rolls, hibachi station, all the typical fruits and desserts that you would see at any other Chinese buffet....
