Whoever these people are, the reason I think some could be alters is the sheer time it takes to do what they are doing and the sheer level of vitriol. Also, to a man nearly every one writes pretty damn well and makes strong, seemingly logical arguments which other rant members unintelligently attempt refute and miss the obvious holes.

I think they ruin the board honestly but they keep our LSU and other teams crazies clicking away. If they didn’t exist though, it might turn into an overly cooperative gentleman’s club which I can’t say I would prefer on a stale echo chamber like Clemsons sad excuse for a football board.

At heart, even the gentlemen among us enjoy a bit of Vaudeville in our lives. There is plenty to go around here that’s for sure.

There are going to be a LOT of 7-9 win teams in the SEC this year. Our schedule is absolutely absurd but so are a lot of others in the league.

I think sustained success is going to become increasingly difficult and will hinge on years where you have a top notch QB.

We have a LOT of talent on this team and will lose a ton of it to the NFL next year. The margin between 7 and 11 wins is paper thin. Having a Chambliss or Jeremiah Smith in the years when you have an overall top roster (like we have now) are the years you will have to capitalize.

These days you can lose 3 games all year and not be in contention for the playoffs bc you lost by 1 score to 3 top 7 teams in league play and end up tied for 6 or 7th in the league and texas bowl bound while actually having a pretty bad arse team.

We don’t currently have a TM7 or JB9 or JC/JJ or JD4and1 difference maker. it’s going to come down to absolutely perfect execution, fundamentals, coaching AND some good fortune (which every championship team ever has gotten a scoop of at some point in the season.)

I just think naming a number of unacceptable losses oversimplifies things.

having had my first back spasm ever this year, I have no idea how anyone even remotely considers playing within a week of a back spasm. My wife had to roll me off the couch and i am like 10 lbs overweight and fairly active with a ruddy complexion and sexy gait. Aggies love me.

The cure has been to get my arse back in the gym more regularly. It's a weird injury. Not necessarily related to a big hit or a massive injury. Case in point, mine kicked in pouring gas into the TimeMaster.

Back spasms are exactly like hamstring cramps...OF THE SPINAL CORD. It's some debilitating shite. But are we completely speculating here or do we know if back spasms were even in play.

On a positive note, beer doesn't stain. Mustard however...

While delivering his decision shortly after 8 p.m. local time, Jorden said he arrived at the hearing with a sense that he would rule against the players. Despite feeling that the distinctions the NCAA and SEC were trying to draw between their athletes and professionals seemed "arbitrary and capricious," Jorden said he was "very, very skeptical" the players' attorneys would be able to prove they had the legal standing to show either the NCAA or SEC had breached a contract.

"Even with all that silliness, if they don't have standing we don't get here," Jorden said. "I was ready to come out here and say, 'Y'all gave it a good shot, but you don't have standing.' ... And then something happened."

What happened was the players' attorneys provided Jorden with a copy of the NCAA's freshly printed rules manual for the 2026-27 school year. In the manual, Rule 12.6 states that as of Aug. 1 any athlete who was within five years of finishing high school or their 19th birthday was eligible to play five seasons of college sports. It did not explicitly say that if a player had exhausted eligibility under the old rules, then the new rules wouldn't apply to him or her.

And so, while Wright, Harris and their fellow plaintiffs may have been ineligible from the end of their last game up until July 30, they could make an argument that they became eligible to play when the new rules went into effect Aug. 1. They could argue they had legal standing.

Downton said after the hearing that he had discovered the new manual -- and the apparent oversight in how the rules were written -- two days before the hearing. The change was fresh enough that Sankey said during his testimony that he had not yet seen how the rule was worded in the NCAA's new manual.
