Maybe I'm slow but I don’t understand why you always get downvoted so much? You provide good info/updates and it’s mostly benign commentary.

To be fair, she was immediately the fall guy. Washington worked hard to make her look as incompetent as possible to cover up their own incompetence. It was easy, too. And then they had probably the stupidest mayor in NOLA history, at least until Latoya came along. Agree though, sad response all around. Master class in poor leadership.
Ridiculous. To be fair it was up to her, and ONLY her to delay the national guard.

she allegedly also wanted to die (though her superficial wounds despite being a nurse make that doubtful) so why isn't she begging for the chair now?
What exactly were her injuries/what did she do to attempt suicide?

re: Sleep numbers bed

Have the most expensive one for over a year now after going through 4 mattresses in five years. Temperpedic, a few others can’t remember the name.
SleepNumber is a godsend. Took a month to figure my setting and will adjust here and there but lifelong back pain disappeared by month 3 and my score average is 85 now with a random night in the 60’s here and there. No idea what people mean by swooshing. It adjusts to your body and pressure points if you have active response setting on. I sleep on my stomach and side and it adjusts when I move within a minute or less.
Wife also loves the heating and it has zones with added heat at the feet that helps you sleep. It will adjust to your body temp too.
The cooling isn’t really cooling it’s active air or a fan circulating and doesn’t work as well as I’d like actually cooling but it definitely helps especially in the summer in an old house with bad insulation.
I tried finding every reason to return it the first month or two since it was so damn expensive but after getting a few nights where I slept six deep hours and felt like I was ten years younger in the morning it was totally worth the money.
*** Very very important tip. Every month or anytime you might think it’s firmer/softer than the actual setting get off the bed and fill it to 100. Then set to desired number and lay on it. It will eventually adjust to the right number.
I do this often especially because my wife uses the bed for storing everything in the world during the day and it throws it off.

This is a big deal for La and the property tax incentives aren't really that egregious. Honestly this is a better deal for the state than what they give away to get Bucees. I just hope they don't go all Louisianastan and blow it up.
It’s a fantastic deal and much better than ANY deal for the state with any company currently or previously. It honestly just shows that Elon is good peeps. You know we’re not getting the same guarantees for power and utilities data centers much less half the other guarantees.
