I'm all in on Guidry, but his energy is reliever/closer type energy. No disrespect at all, but that type of energy is normally not how a starter comes out.

You dad was a great man. Reminds me of my dad.
Oh, and on the hard hitting gun, my dad and brother each had a 10 gauge browning pump with short barrel for deer hunting. 3.5” 00 buck would knock the crap out of you.
My dad also had a TC 7mm-08 pistol and when you pulled the trigger, this thing would rare up like 2feet. You had to make it a point to hold on or it was flying out your hands.
Also had a Dan Wesson 44 mag 8” barrel competition pistol that was a beast as well.

And what about the out play by Tre Morgan. Point is baseball and all sports for that matter are made by highlight plays. You can play ‘if’s’ all day long back to opening day, but it just doesn’t matter. A ‘W’ is a ‘W’ and we got that ring!

I’ve not but know 4 guys that went two years ago. Can’t exactly remember which route the took but I think they started somewhere around Fatima. They gave a talk to a group of spiritual brothers one night and it was an awesome story. No hard plans yet for me but I would love to do it one day.
FWIW, the guys were between 58-68 years old when they did it.
