Kalen DeBoer shares his first impressions of Alabama freshman RB EJ Crowell after his first fall camp practice.

DeBoer did not provide any separation between the two QBs following the opening practice, but he praised what he saw from the quarterbacks, pointing to their consistency, command and ability to create explosive plays.
“Love the demeanor, love their command, the way they're into it,” DeBoer said. “You can see the belief that the guys have in them.”
Later, DeBoer offered another strong endorsement of the offseason put together by Mack and Russell.
“They had great summers,” DeBoer said. “I mean, they had great summers, both of those two guys.”

Why should we be needing to gain respect when we beat UGA, LSU, TN and AU, made the SECCG and won a game in the CFP?
Do UGA, LSU, TN and OU need to gain that respect back after losing to us?
Its a completely manufactured narrative that Im really surprised so many of our fans seem prepared to accept.
