Let's talk about the official sloppy team photo

For those that haven't seen the uproar over the team photo, here's an article and pic.

I know it's just a photo. I hate to say it, but it is a bad look on us. This is a lack of attention to detail, something that has plagued us for several seasons now.
I went back and looked at the official team photos under Saban. They were sharp with attention to detail. Team was lined up. Coaches lined up. Looked poster worthy! This year....it's a mess. I think it says and allot about the coach. COVID years were a little more relaxed, but nothing close to this year's photo.
Let's look at the photo from Saban's third year for comparison:

I've seen this all over social media and apparently we're getting raked over the coals for it looking "sloppy". Honestly, I don't know what a football team picture is "supposed" to look like. But I think the bigger issue is DeBoer is going to get absolutely picked apart by the media, other fanbases and even his own fans, until he starts winning at a higher level than what he's done his first two years.
Before anyone starts going into all the reasons why things have gone the way they have, I get it and much of it I agree with. But the "why's" don't matter when you're Alabama and the outside football world had gotten used to Alabama being the gold standard of football but now they are not. Valid or not, the petty criticisms are going to keep coming until the winning shuts them up. That's how sports work.
Before anyone starts going into all the reasons why things have gone the way they have, I get it and much of it I agree with. But the "why's" don't matter when you're Alabama and the outside football world had gotten used to Alabama being the gold standard of football but now they are not. The people clutching their pearls over a fricking picture, again a picture, are the same people that will tell you (when they're losing) "there are more important things to worry about in life than a football game." I haven't looked at another team's picture... ever? And yet here they are doing side by side comparisons. 
It says nothing about the coach and everything about the photographer. The coach has zero control over how perfectly everyone is positioned for a picture. That is the photographer's job and sadly, the poor kid will probably lose his/her job due to the amount of our own fans clutching their pearls because you allowed Auburn fans to troll you. Acting like the team photo is some reflection of the coach is like blaming the bride because the photographer didn't line up every person in the group photo like a military formation.
This is the pettiest shite I've heard since people criticized Deboer's wardrobe.
But I did hear that Freeze's team photos were a little more "square". Should we give him a call to succeed Deboer after we fire him for... only winning 20 games in two seasons?
Why the third year though? Why not some of the more recent?

Higher level?
Most of the fans "picking this photo apart" would suck their own dad's dick if it meant watching their team win 20 games in two seasons, go 2-1 vs Kirby and win a playoff game... better yet, even clinch a playoff berth.
If Deboer has been a failure at Bama, then so has Lanning at Oregon and Smart at UGA (post-2023).

All I've seen is a bunch of people dragging Auburn for claiming a "picture day national championship". Who cares what the team picture looks like? This is the dumbest melt I think I've ever seen.

Well, let's see if he continues to win at the same level he has the past two years for the next three years and is still employed. My guess is, no. This is Alabama he's coaching, not Ole Miss.
If he replicates the same success over the next three years he will have 20 losses in five years. Do you really think anybody's sucking their dad's d*ck over that?

It’s a non-issue until it isn’t. It will be rehashed if we go out against an inferior opponent and look sloppy and disengaged, especially if we get embarrassed FSU or Vandy style. And God forbid Auburn rolls into BDS and outplays our boys and win. You think it will be a non-issue then? I’m not saying it matters no matter what happens, I personally think it’s a trivial matter but it will be brought up the minute this team stumbles, especially if it’s due to the little things, the details. The best solution is don’t screw up.

There is a reason this years picture looks soooo glaringly different. It has to do with a very specific demographic changing that highlight a lack of continuity. Its not a popular view and some will be butthurt but its pretty evident.

Why should you care about what AU fans think?
There are many, many people overly concerned, some even obsessed, with Alabama. AU certainly falls into the latter category. Many latch on to anything they can to avoid the thought of further success by Alabama.
You can’t worry about every trivial issue they raise. Fans just have to hope their team continues to win games. It’s the only thing that will shut the sad obsessors up. I’m sure you don’t think Golesh looks at that picture and thinks, “we got ‘em now.”
