Your predicted record for this season

I have to go 10-2.
First of all, should absolutely start 5-0.
Then you have the four game gauntlet..but two of them are at home and we actually play pretty well in Baton Rouge.
Should then win the last three.
Just need to split UGA, Tenn, A&M, LSU..and this is a 10-2 playoff team.
Should absolutely be no worse than 9-3. Shouldn’t lose four in a row. And should not lose any of the other 8 games as we will be heavy favorites.

Im kind of feeling like this team is special.
I think we could lose a game just due to a late mistake or two, but i seriously think we move the ball at will.
Our offense faces the best secondary in the country at practice and we have two stud QBs.
If we can push the ball downfield and run between the tackles for about 4 yards a pop we will be elite.
11-1
National Title game appearance.

9-3, 1st team out of playoffs.
I think this team will split the 4 game hell stretch from the second week of October through first week of November. However, they’re going to lose a game they shouldn’t early in the season and that costs them dearly.
At the end of the season, they’ll be playing great ball if they stay healthy. If they avoid the early season dud in the first 5 games then they are probably a dark horse for the playoffs.

10-2, with 11-1 being more likely than
9-3 imo.
Bama is 18-0 under CKD when scoring 23 points. This will be the best defense they have had thus far. There is no excuse not to score 24-28 points vs any SEC opponent imo.
Keelon Russell and this group of WR’s are going to be the difference offensively imo. I know the focus is on an improved running game, but CKD’s offense MUST be able to stretch the field vertically in the passing game consistently. For whatever reason, Ty did not throw a good deep ball (especially outside the hash). They completed 4 balls the entire season that traveled 40 or more yards in the air, for comparison, at UW they completed 7 such passes against Oregon in a single game. They rarely attempted any this past season , which is also very telling.
When defenses are forced to play 2-high/split Safety coverage bc of the threat of a vertical passing game, then it makes running the ball a whole lot easier.
9-3 imo.

10-2
Like was said, split the 4 game mid-season gauntlet and this is a playoff team.
But obviously the key is consistency. It was impressive the run they went on last season after losing to Florida State.
But the key will be not losing to a Florida State or South Carolina early on...even the road trip to Kentucky 2nd game could be tricky.

I think it depends on the quarterback. I’m big on both guys, but Keelon Russell is really special and can cover up our major flaws. If he’s the starter and stays healthy all season, I think we only drop 1 maybe 2 close games. If Mack is the starter then I think we lose 3-4. I just think we’re going to struggle at times on the offensive line. Russell is a guy that can escape the pocket and create. Similar to Bryce Young. Not sure if Mack can do the same. Our defense should be really good, but I think our D coordinator has a lot to prove.

9-3
I think the run game will be improved because of Crowell, but I just don't see the horses for a giant leap on the offensive line.
I think we'll very much be a "styles make fights" team which means we probably lose 1 we shouldn't and win one we shouldn't
Playoff bubble team. Next years team should be among the favorites to win it all

I'll say 9-3 but really good possibility it's 8-4 because kalen always either drops a head scratcher or gets pushed to limit by a 6-6 type team . I hope I'm wrong and it's 10-2 or 11-1 but I'm not seeing it with these nil teams.

Too many unknowns for me. Depending on how the team gels and their mindsets, I wouldn't be surprised with anything between 8-4 (albeit very disappointed) and 11-1.
That said, 10-2 is likely the best hedge.

12-0
Because that's what fans do before game 1.
We can start having discussions about what we are seeing after game 2 and 3.

The defensive secondary can be very good, but if the D line cant get and pressure on the QB, we will get burned on defense. It really comes down to the O line and the D line for this team. Maybe the linebackers too. Plus we might be so thin in some areas that an injury could cause all kinds of problems. That happened on our O line and at quarterback last year. One game we had a center out there that could hardly walk and there were other O linemen out too. Depth will be a problem for most teams though. Its just worse in the SEC because its so physical.

9-3 or 8-4. Lack of proven QB, running back and o-line will keep team from being elite.

We lose 4 total - 3 regular season - 1 bowl-game or playoff round

Regular season record I have us at 10-2. Essentially we split that 4 game gauntlet of death. I also think @UK is going to be a scare and @MSST as a lookahead spot before the UGA game could be tighter than we would like.
Main concern is obviously the improvement on the OL and hopefully the DL is ready to step up. Really don’t like my question marks being on both sides of the trenches and the QB position. Fortunately, a lot of talent throughout the rest of the roster that is ready to go.
Hoping 10-2 is good enough for the SECCG, not going to try and predict tiebreakers. Would be nice to win one more in Atlanta before they eventually scrap the game.

I agree with Diego. I nominate UK or maybe MSU to be the early stinker. Avoid that early clunker and 10-2 gets Bama a playoff spot. I also worry about Lane in Red Stick. He will have such a hard on for Bama you won’t believe it. That game would buy him a lot of credit with fans and boosters of LSU.

To me the improvement of the offensive line is hands down the #1 issue facing this team. Honestly, they don't have to be dominant (although that would be amazing) but if they can be at least decent and a good bit improved from last year, that is HUGE,
If they can be at least "pretty good" and much improved, this team can easily go 10-2, maybe even 11-1. Having a new O line coach, hiring another O line assistant coach and a new TE coach who stresses improved physicality at the LOS bodes well. I like the addition of portal transfer Josh Ford. VERY physically imposing dude who should also help.
I'm cautiously optimistic there will be substantial improvement on the blocking and as such, I feel like 10-2 is very realistic.
