From what I’ve seen of them, we’d run thru that defense like shite thru a goose.

You are expecting a different result against the OSU defense?

The semis would be a shite ton of ratings.

Ohio state is never going to leave Atlanta with a win. The committee knows it. You know it. I know it.

UGA is going to impose their fricking will on the frickeyes… Kirby doesn’t like Day and remembers that fricking snake with Fields back in the day. Some extra hate/motivation in this game.

Hoping this team can make the same improvements in Dec last years did. Conditioning and ready to wear them down.

OSU has the privilege of double motivation.

1/2 of their fans will be able to drive from Myrtle Beach. They have a lot of very good athletes and could beat us if we make mistakes

I found this thread on an Ohio St message board. They have a well informed fan base. Basically some of their fans are licking their chops that we gave up 500 yds of offense and that we struggled against deep passes vs KY and Missouri; they like matching up vs our 1 on 1 coverage. Saw some comments that they are concerned about Stroud's lack of leadership and desire to run the ball from that offense. Lot of concerns about their defense; mainly their LB's against our TE's. Seems like this is a make or break game for Day to repair his legacy. Seems like they think he is too soft. I think as long as we don't get behind early we will win. Ohio St message board

My main concern with this matchup is our inability to get pressure on the QB and maintain tight coverage on their receivers.
The OSU OC will be looking at that LSU film and licking his lips. If Stroud can make long accurate passes, we could be in trouble in this game.
Our offense needs long sustained drives to ware down the OSU defense and keep their offense off the field.

Having said that, I like our Dawgs by a couple of TD's if we don't turn the ball over.

They are the likely the 3rd most talented team in all of football. They had lots of returning starters and blew most of their opponents out.

Their offense can roll. Like most of our Bama games, this will come down to turnovers and physical play.

I think we’ll blitz a crap ton because Stroud is not the same runner/ athlete that some are but even more than that, he’s straight up unwilling to run at times. I’ve watched multiple times where he could take off and gain chunks but he won’t.

The downfield passing threats have always been a concern of mine this season. Ringo is so very hot or cold when it comes to coverage, and Starks is just a pup with a ton of upside.

My #1 gripe is the players on D's inability to wrap up the QB in pursuit. It's like our guys have forgotten how to tackle on the run.

Not only that but Ohio fans are everywhere. All major cities have contingents. Hell my next door neighbor is one. They’re like the plague. I expect tickets for this one will be hard to come by.

It has been strange. He hasn't really even shown any ability to create outside of the pocket this season, almost as if he was playing to protect his draft status.

That said, one good pop from 88 could make him turtle up again.

I watched the OSU/Michigan game with several OSU fans. The name John Cooper was mentioned more than once in the second half.

Even the Ohio Staters know their team is soft in the line. Michigan came out and punched them in the mouth and they could not respond.

Georgia can out-physical them and everyone on the Georgia coaching staff knows it.

Stroud is a good passer but you put pressure on him and he gets off his game. He does not like pressure nor getting hit.

Georgia is a favorite for a reason, the Vegas people know it.

We lead the nation in qb pressures. I think we'll be okay there.

The Dawgs proved their point against Tennessee when they decided to really go after Hooker and force him to the ground. We knew they were getting pressure all year, but they went for the gusto to prove a point and they got it.

Much like the offense sticking to the bread and butter basics for most of the year, I feel like this defense has been holding onto their better calls and looks for the end of the year/big games. The coaches knew they were going to whoop the majority of our schedule playing basic ball, so they did enough to win.

Now it's time to unload the clip.
