I think we all expected the lineup to bounce back in some sort of way this year.
Not like this. I did not see this coming from Ozzie or Harris at all. It's early, but to this point, I'll eat crow on that one and be happy about it.

We need that and a 2-3 rotation arm
I'd love to take a shot on deGrom. Probably wouldn't cost much to get him. He has one more guaranteed year left after this season, but it's at $37M. Could we get Texas to take Profar in return to offset some of the salary?

Wonder how much he’s going to cost after this season? He may be a bigger clubhouse loss than FF and DS combined.
$7M team option with a $4M buyout
Riley is beyond lost at the plate. It has been going on for long enough now that I think this is just who he is.

Yaz will still get plenty of run against LHP. He and Dubon will play in the corners while Acuna is DH. He'll also play left and Dubon will play 3B to give Riley a day off occasionally.
He's also on a 2/$23M deal. He is in no danger of losing his roster spot.

Tonight has to feel good for Yaz
Hope that isn't a serious injury for Mize
Ronald is seeing Mize well

They had zero interest in pitching to Olson whatsoever lol
I wouldn't either right now
He absolutely scorched that ball
7 pitch first inning. Good start for Perez

I can't tell you how Howard called any of those
Consider yourself lucky. Howard's call was awful. You couldn't tell if he was saying "no good" or "no, good" for about a minute.

Hope Walt beats his arse if one of his pitchers hits Ronald.

Yaz has been hitting the ball hard when he makes contact but he hasnt been making enough contact for that to even be a excuse.
He's running a >50% groundball rate. That's his main issue.
This might be a very short start for Nola

He is so dialed in right now. Really fun to watch.
What a start!
