re: It needs to be Mathis or Daniels going forward - Peter Buck
D3 football is filled with QBs with rifle arms and a limited ability to process the football field while people are running in all directions and people are trying to tackle them....

re: Does Kirby work in JT Daniels against UK in two weeks? - Peter Buck
His arm is weak standing in the pocket, rolling out only magnifies that. When a defense knows he can’t throw the ball 20 yards rolling out they are going to cause turnovers. Majority of defenses we face are going to be deep in the box, therefore rolling out for crossers and digs are going to ...

re: Does Kirby work in JT Daniels against UK in two weeks? - Peter Buck
The fact that rollouts are even being discussed is comical. Did you see how atrocious Stet was throwing on the run Saturday? He makes good decisions over the course of a game but, the fact of the matter is he is a dwarf and the ball floats to our receivers. He just doesn’t have the phys...

re: If in the 3rd quarter - Peter Buck
If in the 3rd quarter Burton got a ball ripped out of his hands on a crucial third down catch on the first drive in the second half. BAMA defense was coached to bully him, they saw he got ripped during the UT game. He needs to hit the weights in the off season obviously.
Did you...

re: If in the 3rd quarter - Peter Buck
If in the 3rd quarter We come out up 24-20 getting the ball back. We have 2 rbs averaging 6+ ypc and 1 at 5+ ypc. With Stetson struggling. You do not put the game in his hands, you run the ball. Then you run it again and again. McIntosh had 2 carries..... that's just ridiculous. We ran the...

LSU had a number of roll out plays that catered to Burrow’s athleticism . He also certainly was a very difficult dude to sack. Give his Oline credit though. He had a lot of time on a lot of plays....

re: Does Kirby work in JT Daniels against UK in two weeks? - Peter Buck
Frankly, I do not think we are playing to Bennett’s strengths as much as we could. I think Bennett can win games for us. It will be harder for him to do it with a 5 and 7 step drop. The pass rushers were taking up passing lanes as much as they were putting pressure on. The way to counter that is...

re: Does Kirby work in JT Daniels against UK in two weeks? - Peter Buck
He lost his spot because he fricked his knee up. There’s not much more of an explanation. He may still be having problems, but it wasn’t due to being passed organically by sucking
That is why he lost it. If he assumed he was getting it back when he was better, you would think he...

re: Does Kirby work in JT Daniels against UK in two weeks? - Peter Buck
And why did he lose his spot
I am not fully clear as to why. The assumption I made based on what I read was the back up came in and did a good enough job to make him think he would not get it back. Or there were other issues. Total speculation. Maybe his girlfriend dumped him a...
Just out of curiosity...what would you prefer to see Kirby do with regard to the QB position, Cracker? He seems to hint that Stetson will be the QB until one of the other guys develops past him. Do you believe he intends to use a game manager in Stetson in order to hopefully avoid was...
