It completely defeats the purpose of being on a message board in the first place. People go to forums to hear from real humans—someone who has actually scraped their knuckles on the same bolt, tried the weird troubleshooting step, or had the exact same frustrating experience.
When an AI-generated block of text shows up, it usually stands out like a sore thumb: impeccably punctuated, perfectly polite, utterly generic, and devoid of any lived reality. It’s the conversational equivalent of a stock photo.

Yet people do it, and it usually boils down to a few distinct motivations:
* Karma, stats, and account farming: On sites like Reddit, accounts need age and positive karma to post in certain communities or appear trustworthy. Spammers and marketers set up bots or lazy copy-pasters to churn out agreeable, plausible-sounding AI replies just to build up credibility scores before using the accounts for astroturfing or shilling.

* The "expert" masquerade: Some people crave the social status of being the helpful guru in a community, but lack the technical background, writing ability, or patience to actually explain things. Pasting a prompt into a model and dumping the output lets them pose as knowledgeable without doing any of the legwork.

* Overcoming language barriers or anxiety: This is perhaps the only well-intentioned reason. Non-native speakers or people who find written English intimidating often write out their rough thoughts and ask AI to polish them. The trouble is that without heavy editing, the tool strips out all their natural voice and replaces it with that telltale corporate sheen.

* Passive engagement / laziness: Some users genuinely want to participate in a discussion but can't be bothered to formulate a paragraph. They treat posting like checking a box, outsource the thinking, and hit submit without realizing how hollow it sounds to everyone else.

The irony is that message boards survived the social media era precisely because they were messy, authentic, and hyper-specific. Flooding them with synthetic, aggregate summaries just turns a room of people sharing notes into an echo chamber of recycled search results.

It actually does. 3:30 was the number one slot (as other poster noted) and the two best modern teams are #1 and #2 in 3:30 games. Being one of the best modern teams does not apply to UF.

Stadium looks like a war zone. People
laying every where. Should have moved game time. Also, stupid af they took ice away from gates. They did start giving free water away. Luckily some clouds came over and helped a bit.

After verbal
After signing
After joining team
After playing a year
After playing 2, 3, and 4 years
After attempting to go pro
After going pro

Quicktrip has more employee control than D1 schools at the moment.

They are employees now given they get paid and don’t actually (most of them) go to class.

Remember when a kid had to actually qualify to get into school? When was the last time a kid didn’t qualify?
