Pittman's been flying all over the country chasing OL guys. Must just not think Dowdell is good enough.
One thing I was thinking about earlier, usually new staffs want to turn over the roster in favor of guys they want as quickly as possible. I don't know this for a fact, but they may rather not fill up this year if it means they can have more space in their first real class that they get to evaluate themselves, provided they can't get guys they really want in the next couple weeks.

I hate it for the kid that this happened the way it did, but if he hasn't heard from the new staff in 6 weeks, they obviously have other targets.
