re: Karen at the CDC releases memo projecting 3,000 Covid deaths per day in June

200,000 new cases per day for 30 days of June would be 6,000,000 new cases in just one month. The math doesn't make realistic sense.
Bloomberg wants Hillary as a running mate.

The initial article I read said he had been suffering from a sinus infection before this surgery
"Mathis, an early enrollee from Romulus, Mich, had experienced severe sinus pain brought on by the change in climate, according to his father, Terence Mathis. The sinus issue led to the discovery of the cyst."
There was an article with a quote from Kirby saying Mathis had completed his 6 weeks of antibiotics and was cleared to classes and non contact workouts.
Brain abscess is known complication/sequelae of frontal sinus infections. And you don't give antibiotics for a simple cyst removal, definitely not 6 week worth.
It has never been reported as an abscess. But medically an abscess is what makes sense. The surgery is the same. You still have to cut open someone's skull and remove it. So the chance of him playing football again is the same for both conditions.

That was no "cyst". That was a brain abscess. You don't get IV antibiotics for 6 weeks after a "cyst". And I don't see him ever being medically cleared for contact after a craniotomy.

re: How Did They Reduce Tua’s Hip Dislocation At The Stadium?
Posted by Dr Dawg on 11/17/19 at 2:48 pm
Artery of the ligamentum teres is always torn on hip dislocation. Avascular necrosis of the femoral head is only avoided if the collateral supply is adequate to keep it alive. Otherwise you end up like Bo.
