if it's more than 40 points, he's probably going to be SOL because it's really really hard to jump your score that much. No matter how many times you take it.

I jumped 130 points in a total of three tries, no pre-SATs either. It can definitely be done.

It can be done but you're definitely and outlier. Average if you take it 5 times between your junior and senior years is around 45 points. Second try is about 15 point swing.

Yeah, I could see that. I jumped 40 points on the second attempt and then 90 on the last one. I think part of my issue on the first try was that it was the first such test I'd ever taken. The whole process was pretty new to me and I probably had some nerves. Not really sure. That said, I could have gotten into UGA on my first try at the time (and not on the athlete scale), but I wanted to do better.

These are the kind of players in the trenches we must start pulling in to become a NC contender.

I went in blind, then tutored and raised my 2nd score by 90. It's not as far fetched as it seems. Most folks I know could at least get it up 50

If he has 1400 out of 1600 he'd already be fine with Stanford.

no he wouldn't. he was quoted in an interview saying he needed a 1500 to qualify.

6-7 285 4 star decommitted/offer pulled from Michigan couldn't hurt to see if it wants to visit.

You don't need a 1500/1600 to qualify as a football player at Stanford. If he had a 1400 on a 1600 scale, he'd be good to go.

Nice

Hopefully Coley can lure him away from UNC.

It would be great....I think he is a 2017, though. We'll have to wait a year.

If I am incorrect, then I agree with the message I originally responded to - the kid is outside his mind if he thinks Stanford is a good idea for him. How the hell can he pass classes there if he is a below average student?

That might be the number for the 2400 point scale. I can 100% assure you Stanford doesn't require football players to have above a 1400 on a 1600 point scale.

Their 25th percentile for incoming freshman (whole student body) is lower than 1400. The football team isn't required to be above that.

With all that said, they do obviously have high criteria for their team.

Why are we still talking about test scores? I think 23 responses is enough, so I'm gonna call it time of death: 1741

Yeah I hope the current staff, at least someone on it, has had the balls to let him that they are looking at other options, something, to let him know we don't want him right now. That is one thing I know Richt would of handled properly, but lets hope the current staff did this as well and those were just rumors.
