All I know is he gave Rudolph exactly what he asked for last night

and got his arse suspended for the remainder of the season,
and lost over $1,000,000 in salary this year (and who knows how much more going forward),
and tarnished his athletic reputation for life.

Ahhh... just looked like he was trying to forcibly put the helmet back on. I mean if he wanted to hurt him he would have hit him with the crown of the helmet.

I've enjoyed all the comments on Texags about how he was the first person in NFL history to do this and it was the most egregious thing anyone has ever done on a football field.

Good article from USA Today: LINK

If Richie Icognito still gets to play in the league....

Tempest in a tea pot. In a week it won’t be mentioned again until Garrett is reinstated next year. Will make ESPN that week and then go away.

He was great at A&M and that’s really as much as I care about this. Some people seem genuinely offended he did that. Well beyond the control of A&M, students, fans, etc. If this is really that upsetting to anyone because he played at A&M then it might be time to seek professional counseling.

It will not go away, it will be mentioned if he ever does anything even somewhat shady for the rest of his career.

+1. If that’s a real question, yes. Everything Myles has done or said before Thursday night’s game indicates that Myles is a straight laced guy of good character. If you are trying to imply that he’s some sort of thug, you couldn’t be farther from reality.

Should he have done what he did? Of course not. But find me a guy that’s never lost his temper and blew up over something, here’s a hint, they don’t exist.

Unfortunately this is true too. Yes it will die down within the next week or two, but once he’s back playing it will be brought up again, and then if he ever does anything to get fined or has some sort of bad press it will he brought up again. That’s the consequence of playing on a big stage in the spotlight, stuff will always follow you...

I think Miles is an ok dude. He lost his mind yesterday but we will find out he was provoked. He will be back next year. Because the Steeler QB likely picked the scab to open the wound it will be interesting if he gets out of this scott free. A case can be made for unequal allocation of punishment if that happens if you know what I mean. But Miles was swinging a weapon. But I do believe he is a good man.

This.

I am a pretty mild-mannered guy as well, but if someone kicks me in the testicles I too tend to lose my temper.
