Do we all still believe he writes poetry in his spare time?

0 leadership from the mouth breather. The commentators even made mention of it during the second quarter.

Not near as embarrassing as special teams on the bounced punt. That’s pure mental laziness

I think he’s between a rock and a hard place. People are going to question his “QB Whisperer” status. But with Mond it’s like asking for a Miami High Rise. I think Jimbo can give it to us. But it’s going to be made of Legos. If there’s better material in the yard, I think Jimbo would be better to start working with it now than later.

We don’t even need a superstar at QB. All we need is someone that’s consistent and can project being in control. The rest of the team will fall in and there’s no limit to what we can do. Mond is not that guy.
This isn’t a “it’s only the second game fluke”. It’s a pattern with the guy that’s been there since day one. And a left over thought process from Sumlin days. Grasp onto whatever success (stellar performance against Texas Stare) and excuse away all other failures. I’d rather have a freshman step up who could at least provide consistency and project some sort of stability to the rest of the team. Even at his best Mond still doesn’t have the presence about him that other QB’s around the league show. Lacking that we’re not going to go 10 + in the W column.
However, defense did inspire today, all things considered.
I agree he has his moments. But there’s way to much erraticism with his play. Despite all the hype and excuse for his short comings, he seems to be on no different path than last year. There also seems to be a complete lack of leadership characteristics about him. Just seeing the camera pan to him on the side lines, saps my confidence. I also keep referring to my thesaurus on the term “dual threat” and I’m yet to see his name in there.
At what point are we going to face reality... All you have to do is watch any other team with a halfway decent QB and it’s very apparent he doesn’t stack up.
