No. 11 Oklahoma Falls On The Road To Michigan, 17-10

No. 11 Oklahoma suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday as Michigan knocked off the Sooners 17-10 at Michigan Stadium.

Michigan jumped out to a 10-0 halftime lead, highlighted by quarterback Bryce Underwood's 38-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter.

Oklahoma finally got on the board in the third quarter when John Mateer connected with Mackenzie Alleyne for a 22-yard touchdown, cutting Michigan's lead to 10-7.

The Sooners tied the game at 10-10 on a 34-yard Tate Sandell field goal early in the fourth quarter, but Michigan responded with the game-winning drive. Jordan Marshall capped it off with a one-yard touchdown run to put the Wolverines back ahead 17-10.

Oklahoma had one final opportunity to tie the game but couldn't get anything going, with Mateer taking a sack in the final seconds.

Mateer finished 17-of-33 for 189 yards with one touchdown and one interception while also leading Oklahoma with 45 rushing yards. The Sooners outgained Michigan 289-263 but committed two turnovers compared to none for the Wolverines.

Underwood threw for 111 yards and rushed for a game-high 87 yards and a touchdown as Michigan improved to 2-0, while Oklahoma fell to 1-1.
