I figured Ole Miss just felt really, really comfortable with their 2 point plays and that made it easy to try to get an upper hand in a game that had started to lean towards LSU.

Golding completely going for broke. No reason to go for 2 other than just playing to win hard

Or they've seen us play undisciplined up front and baited us into offside calls. They just outsmarted us. There was nothing lucky about it.

I like the going for 2. Trust Chambliss and now LSU under way more pressure. The momentum fully back with Ole Miss

I kind of agree. Why not just kick the one and bet on your defense.

It’s kind of a weird take. To me it shows I have absolutely zero respect for the defense. I know they can do pretty much whatever they want at this time.

That gives us a fighting chance. Not a good chance, but a fighting chance.

You guys knotted it up after they jumped to a sizeable lead and they just responded big time. I don't think they are scared.

Yeah, I rethought it and I actually like the move. It was smart not scared like I originally interpreted it.

Worst case scenario for regulation is LSU scores and gets the 2 pt conversion and then Chambliss has time to try and get a FG to win

I think Golding was playing the clock.
If LSU scores a TD, there is still time to come back down and get a field goal for the win. That was worst case scenario if Ole Miss didn't get it.
Now, there is an immense pressure on LSU.

Wut? They played lsu like they had a cheat code that drive. They trusted the Ole Miss D enough to risk not kicking it…
