Every team is guaranteed 3 matches. So the 0-2 teams play the 0-2 teams in the last match.

Like A&M lost to LSU so now they will play UC-Santa Barbara who is also 0-2.

Yeah the NCAA championships are outdoor in May. This is the indoor national championships, run by the ITA (college tennis governing body).

The results still mean a lot for rankings for the season moving forward before SEC play starts next week
It is main draw and back draw . So LSU lost to TCU and went to the back draw where they beat A&M.

Now LSU plays UCF in the next round who also lost in R1 and won their back draw match.
coming down a 3rd set on court #2.

Lost on courts 1 and 3 but won on 4-6

Vs A&M today in the back draw. Aggies won doubles. Olaf is back in the lineup
And even if Olaf loses today, it will be tough for him to get to Waco for tomorrow’s match in less than 24 hours

Gonna be really tough without two starters (Pieczkowski and Loncarevic).

What happened to the UGA men's program? Not even top 25 right now and have been down the last few years
A lot of these teams get treated like kings and queens despite not making money. I saw Oregon volleyball went on a Croatia trip over the summer. Totally paid for by the school I assume
All this tells me is that more schools need to promote college tennis. Could actually be a break-even sport because of low expenses
The coaches probably are secretly hoping they lose before Thursday though so they can make it over to Waco for the TCU match
Yep. Tennis goes 100% by the computer rankings after the indoors event. Basically like the basketball NET rankings, giving a lot of weight to the quality of wins
Yes. I think A&M, Texas, or UCF would have been a winnable first-round match. TCU will be tough
Bracket

LSU is in Waco starting Friday vs the #2 seed TCU at 9 am.

LSU kinda got screwed on the seeding here. Undefeated with wins over top 20 teams Clemson, Pepperdine and Arizona. Baylor and Texas A&M should not be seeded ahead.

Waco side:

(1) Wake Forest vs (8) UC Santa Barbara
(4) UCF vs (5) Baylor
(3) Texas vs (6) Texas A&M
(2) TCU vs (7) LSU

Dallas (SMU) side:

(1) Ohio State vs (8) SMU
(4) Stanford vs (5) Arizona State
(3) Miss State vs (6) Florida
(2) Virginia vs (7) Clemson
Yeah people don't realize that about college tennis. You can get loud and yell. It gets pretty chippy. It's not like the quiet atmosphere of pro tennis. Also in singles you have six matches going on at once so there's always action to watch.
It's mainly the top 2. They are two of the best newcomers in the nation and both are experienced pro tour players from Europe who had ATP ranks in the top 500.

It makes the whole lineuo better because Kohlmann and Loncarevic can now play #3 and #4 where they are really strong. Last year they had to play #1 and #2 and that was just a bit above their level and took a lot of losses in the SEC
Looks like it may come down to a 3rd set on #1 if the leads hold on all other courts
Edward Winter is a cool name though you gotta admit
Up 1-0 entering singles. This is for a spot in the ITA national indoor championships (final 16 teams) in mid-february.
