Mississippi State Rallies From 16-Point Deficit To Beat South Carolina On The Road

After falling behind 16-0, Mississippi State battled back behind quarterback Kamario Taylor, who threw two second-quarter touchdown passes to cut the deficit to 23-14 at halftime.

The Bulldogs took control in the second half, scoring 24 unanswered points to build a 38-23 lead early in the fourth quarter.

Taylor finished with 251 passing yards and four touchdowns as Mississippi State held off a late South Carolina rally for a 41-34 victory.

The win improved Mississippi State to 3-0 and gave the Bulldogs a victory in their SEC opener. South Carolina dropped to 2-1 with the loss.
