Batesville (Miss.) South Panola safety Antonio Conner, the state of Mississippi's top prospect, is in Tuscaloosa. As has been the case in the past, it's difficult to pull South Panola prospects from Ole Miss, but Conner is worth it and is saying he's open to looking around. He's ranked as the no. 31 overall prospect in the nation and is a guy that could enter the 5-star discussion with a good camp circuit/senior season.

Probably not. Charles said he thought maybe only one with a chance to commit. I forgot which one though. Im back and forth between here, Braves game, and BOL

Oh man, I would love to pull Conner. If I had one of those fancy top 5 withlist sigs, he would definitely be in it. I know SP guys are a tough pull, and we're stacked at safety but I'm still hoping.

Only to a degree. If a player shows enough potential, then I think we allow him to publically commit even if his grades are a mess with the understanding that he has to make a lot of headway towards getting qualified by NSD or else he won't be signing. I'm guessing that's what we did with Casey Gladney.

Andrew Bone loves the guy, I think he touts him as the #1 WR in the state. Big time production in a good classification and blazing high 4.3 speed. Questions about his grades too, but it's waaay too early to close the door right now...
